As soon as I walked through my front door, I heard what seemed to be really intense yelling.

"Emily? Is that you?" My mom shouted from the dining room. "Come here for a second."

"No mom, it's a robber who's trying to rob our things. " I mumbled sarcastically but nevertheless, began heading to the source of the shouting.

I was really surprised to find my mom and my dad in a very heated argument. Like literally. Their faces are really red, probably from all that shouting.

"What seem to be the problem here, parents?" I asked, while raising an eyebrow.

Before my dad could reply, my mom cut him off. "Your dad, just spent $500 dollars! Without telling me!" She cried, throwing her hands up in exasperation.

"Okay...? And this is a problem because..." I asked, still not exactly understanding what their disagreement was about.

"THE PROBLEM??" my mom howled. "The problem is that he spent it ALL on get drunk!".

"Now, now love. You're obviously barking up the wrong tree! I did nothing of the sort." mu dad said smoothly.

My mom scowled at him. "Fine, let Emily choose."

They then both turned towards me and waited expectantly.

I started panicking. What if I pick the wrong person? What would happen to the other? Will my parents get divorce? Who would I live with? Will I still get to live here? All sort of 'what ifs' questions flew around in my head. I shook my head. I can't let that happen. Drastic times call for drastic measures.

"STOP! Why are you guys so selfish?" I exclaimed. "Don't you think about me at all? You kept arguing about a stupid thing like money (Okay, it's pretty important but that's not the point) and then forced me to pick sides?" I wailed, with a few "fake" tears spilling out of my eyes. (What? I thought of a sad memory. General Snuffles, may you rest in peace.)

My parents glanced at each other then at me. "Um, we're sorry honey. If we knew how much this hurts you, we wouldn't drag you into this in the first place." My mom responded gently.

"Your mom is right, Em. We didn't know how much affected you are by our fighting. We just thought of ourselves instead of you and we're sorry for that." My dad added.

"And Sofia..." he continued, "I think I owe you an apology. I promise I won't ever go drinking again. It's just that business is running really low right now and I'm really stressed about that."

"It's gonna be alright Nelson. I didn't know." she replied surprisingly, "And I'm really sorry I didn't give you the benefit of the doubt."

"Yeah dad! Just remember every cloud has a silver lining." I chided in.

They chuckled slightly. "GROUP HUG!" I yelled before flinging my arms around them.

After a few minutes, I excused myself and I ran towards the stairs. When I almost reached the top, I stopped and glanced down at my parents, who were still hugging.

"That was my plan all along." I smirked to myself, before grabbing my phone out of my pocket. The problem is, it was empty.
--------------------------------
I gasped. I began grabbing what seemed to be air, frantically, hoping that my hands were just playing tricks on me. Well, the good news is maybe it's somewhere in this house. Unfortunately, the worst scenario consisted of being left still at school.

I immediately called Hailee (using the house phone) to come over and help me search. We searched high and low but with no results. After an hour of desperate searching, I finally came to the terms that my phone is in fact, missing.

After drinking what seemed to be a gallon of water, we finally retreated to my room, panting.

Well, now that I think about it, I think I left it right on my desk...which was right next to Stacy's!" I gasped in horror.

"Huh. I bet that sadistic...dog took it. She'll do anything to get under your skin." Hailee said thoughtfully, and I had to agree. That pain in the ass girl would do ANYTHING. The question is, how far would she be willing to go? I shuddered.

"Well, it least I had a passcode on it. So therefore, there's absolutely no way she can hacked into it." I said gleefully, and visibly relaxed.

"Um Em? You do know that you don't have a passcode on right now right?" She replied.

I sat right up. "What are you talking about? Of course I did."

"Uh no you didn't. Your passcode used to be your ex-boyfriend's name but after you guys broke up, you got rid of the code."

The hair on my back stood right up. "Aw dammit!" I whined angrily. "Wait...so you're saying that Stacy have access to everything on it?".

Hailee contemplated that for a moment. "Yeah, pretty much it."

The second she confirmed my worst(well second to worst) nightmare, I knew I'm screwed.
---------------------------------------
I was so pre-occupied with my thoughts that I didn't even hear the door bell rang. I heard footsteps coming closer to my room and my mom unexpectedly barged in....without knocking.

"Emily! It's for you. It's um Stacy." She said nervously, while twiddling her thumbs.

"Okay...? Why?" I asked her dubiously.

My mom shrugged. "Beats me."

"Hailee, stay right here." I ordered and ran as fast as I could to the door. Just kidding. I actually walked as slow as I could, just to make the bitch wait.

When I finally arrived at the door, I grinned at the annoyed and impatient look on Stacy's face. Mission accomplished.

My smile faded. "What are you doing here?" I asked warily.

"Oh nothing. I found your phone and I had a feeling you might want it back so being the friendly person that I am (I snorted at that), I just thought to return it." She said, while smirking widely.

I looked at her, even more suspicious than ever. I knew Stacy enough to know that she would never do anything voluntarily, unless she got something out of it first.

"Thanks, I guess. So you're saying that you walked all the way from school just to return me my phone?" I asked slyly, when she handed me my phone.

"Yep." She answered quickly. Too quickly. "Hey so since we're buddies now (not likely), do you mind if I come-" I interrupted her.

"Nope. You're still not welcome!" I yelled before banging the door in her face.

I heard her cursed a few very colorful words and smiled. That girl have a brain the size of a walnut.

What's the worst she could do?
