Piper POV.
I watched as the sun slowly disappeared under the horizon. I glanced over at Jason, he was sitting at a table doing a crossword. I wanted him to walk over to me and we could watch the sunset together, but no. He wasn't paying any attention to me the last few days. I hate it.
I stomped over there madly. He didn't even look up.
"Jason!" I hissed.
He tilted his head up. His electric blue eyes scanning me.
"Yes," he cautiously whispered.
"We need to talk," I stated.
"That's never good," he muttered only loud enough for me to scarcely hear.
We walked into Jason's room. I barely even noticed the decor. All I saw was red.
"Why have you been avoiding me?" I asked.
"What do you mean,"
"I mean we've barely even talked in like a week." I said. Gods he's oblivious.
"Well sorry!" He said. "You know we're in the middle of a war, we don't have time to chit-chat all the time!"
"Hazel and Frank made time," I pointed outside to wear Hazel and Frank were holding hands and talking.
"Well, that's them, I have a little more responsibility, I'm the leader." He said.
"So look at Percy and Annabeth, they have even more than us, but they still love each other just as much!"
"They have more responsibilities than us? I'm a son of Jupiter!" He shouted.
"Is everything about pride to you?" I didn't give him time to reply. "Because it's not, we're half-bloods, which means we are still half-teenager. Are you that Roman? To not even live. Look at the Greek camp! They are having fun, enjoying the days they have. Are you so caught up in this war to let Gaea take control of your joy! Fighting isn't everything!" At that I stomped out of the room, leaving Jason to question himself.
On the deck was Percy and Annabeth. They were swimming. Percy was chasing Annabeth in the water. Percy, being a son if Poseidon caught her quickly. He grabbed her waist, and both went tumbling into the pool's water. After a few seconds they surfaced.
"Perseus Jackson! You get back here!" At that moment Percy started running away from the fuming Annabeth.
He went purposely slow, so she could catch up. She went up to him and started yelling.
"Perseus Jackson! How many times do I have to tell you not to..." She never got to finish her question, because Percy pulled her in for a kiss. They stayed like that for a few seconds, before pulling apart.
"Now what were you going to say?" Percy asked, then started floating on his back.
Annabeth just stared flabbergasted.
"Come on Beth, I'm all ears," he said.
"Ummm I, need, angry, water." She stumbled on every word, leaving out entire sentences.
" I don't know any angry water," he smirked.
Annabeth broke out of her trance, and started to swim again, all anger forgotten.
I smiled at the cute couple.
"Why couldn't Jason be like that," I thought.
I watched Percy and Annabeth every night. Sometimes they would swim, bake, kiss, talk, spar, and all type of adorable things. Each day I grew more apart from Jason. I think its about time that I talk to him. And maybe, just maybe, we could join Percy and Annabeth's way of things.
See, Percabeth inspires everyone.
