My hideout was epic. The games had begun and my motto was Have no mercy. My second choice would be Run or Die. But the former sounds more kid-friendly.
"KAT!! I will find you and you will die. Merry Christmas!" Now that's just cruel. But no worries. I shall be the King of Paintball! Well Queen but it sounds better as King.
I slinked through some tubes that were laying around and spotted my next victim. It was Alex. He'd tagged along after he said he had no plans.
Since I couldn't talk I was a freaking ninja.
Anyways I targeted him and he fell to the ground in a sudden thud. Ok no but that would have been amazing. He just moved a little and looked around but I was already onto the next one. Xavier.
I heard the most frightening sound a couple feet away from me. A cough. Please let ut be a ghost. Like Casper.
"Hey lil sis. Ready to be beat?" He smirked joyfully. Oh please. I wasn't the one begging for mercy last Christmas.
'Not really. Are you?' I asked. Then it happened. A paintball shot past me and hit him. His face was priceless. I tensed and turned around to see my number one enemy...Lily. Ok no. But hey it's Christmas Paintball, I'm competitive. Deal.
"We meet again my dear Kat." Lily said.
'So we do Lil. Now tell me... why are we so cliche?' I asked. It was done to distract her. I came up with a plan.
"No idea but it works. " Her eyes moved to behind me. Maybe I was already in her plan. Darn.
'Yeah.' And then I sprinted off. Rather caught her by surprise if I do say so myself. She ran after me but I was already ahead of her. I took many twists and turns until she lost sight of me. I caught my breath and begun to watch my surroundings.
"Aaaahhhh!!" And then Lily jumped up from a leverage above and attacked me.
"Beware the Ginga Ninja!!!" And then my head was covered in blue paint. Ow.
Xavier and Alex ran to where the commotion was. Xavier's pout was turned into a full blown grin when he saw the state I was in. Alex just smiled. Curse both of them.
" And the new Paintball Queen of Christmas is...Liliana Knight!" Xavier announced in a booming voice. Trust me if I had won, he'd be muttering it and acting grumpy.
"Now to get some food!!" Lily yelled. We all celebrated that comment.
