Izuku woke up and saw that Kaina was still asleep on his arm. He smiled and checked the clock and saw that they still had a bit of time before they needed to wake up. He pulled his arm out and popped his back. He looked back over at Kaina and saw that she was stirring in her sleep. He got back in bed and pulled her close, "It's ok Kaina. I'm here." He ran a hand through her hair, "I'm here." She nuzzled into his chest. He kissed her forehead, "I don't know if you can hear me but I love you Kaina." He felt her face shift slightly. He looked down at her and raised an eyebrow, "Your awake aren't you."
He heard her chuckle and very quietly say, "No."
He scooted down on the bed and saw she had her eyes closed trying to make it seem like she was asleep. He smirked, "Well I guess if you asleep you won't notice if I am gone."
He slowly started to get up but Kaina pulled him down, "Nope!"
He smiled, "Good morning Kaina." She grabbed his face and kissed him.
She pulled away after the kiss, "Good morning Izuku."
He smiled, "But in all seriousness I do need to get up."
She sighed, "I guess your right."
Izuku got up first and stretched. He grabbed his shirt and tossed Kaina her pants, "Your gonna need those. Unless you plan on staying in here."
She put the pants on, "I-I know. You ready for the sports festival?"
He nodded, "Yeah! Hey I do wanna discuss something about that though."
She nodded, "What about it?"
"If we do eventually clash in the sports festival I don't want either of us to hold back. Not one bit. If you beat me I want you to know that you beat me at my strongest. And if I beat you I want to know I beat you at your strongest."
She nodded, "Yeah! Good t-thing you mentioned that. I wanted to say the same thing. But what you wanna do until the sports festival?"
"Probably just hang out until it starts. I do need to do one thing before hand though."
"What is that?"
He smirked, "Summoning rituals."
"Um what are they?"
"Oh! I thought I explained that. But maybe I didn't I can't remember. But basically a user of Ten Shadows are granted the demon dogs at birth. All the other Shikigami have to be forced into submission or killed to gain control over them through a summoning ritual."
"Wait if you kill them in the summoning ritual does that take away one of their two lives?"
He nodded, "Yes."
"Wait how many lives do your Shikigami currently have?"
"Demon Dogs still have 2 but they share lives. So only one of them can die once."
"Wait what about Totality?"
"Typically if you combined Shikigami and they died depending on the combination either none of the Shikigami involved would die, or they would all lose a life. But with Totality that all goes out the window. Since Ten Shadows count demon dogs as one in the same. It's like a coin. One is heads. One is tails. You don't have a full coin until you put them together. So if Totality died I lose both of my Demon dogs."
"Geez! Sounds complicated."
"It is. But back to what I was saying. Nue still has all their lives. Gama had all theirs. Rabbit Escape has all theirs. Orochi has all theirs. Max Elephant has all theirs. Peircing Bull has one life left since he died at the U.S.J. I am gonna tame the final two Shikigami I am missing. Well besides Mahoraga. That is for a later date."
