Pov Sage

"No Sage, you shouldn't whine like that!" Meri shouts at me. We've never had an argument. But now it is. All since that stupid boyfriend girlfriend thing. "You're complaining about everything yourself!" I shout back. Meri runs his hands through his hair and believe me he only does that when he is super angry and really doesn't know what to do anymore. He sighs and walks out the door angrily. I run to my room. I hear Meri speeding his car down the street. I let my head fall into my pillow. Why did we have to argue?

I'm sitting in circles on my office chair with my English book in my hands. I actually have to learn but I just can't get around to it. I hear a car driving down the street. I look outside. It's Meri. He parks the car and gets out... only he's not alone... a girl is standing next to him. He puts an arm around her shoulder and kisses her cheek. I know her from somewhere. I think she goes to school with us; I mean she is beautiful but not super pretty but beautiful; why is he doing this? A shiver runs through me. My breath catches in my throat. They walk inside together. Not much later, the lamp in Meri's room turns on. Meri and the girl walk into his room kissing. I swallow. Another shiver runs through me. Meri lies down on the bed with her and I can't see anything else. Okay, I'll just go there. I climb onto the tree through my window. I climb through the tree and then climb through Meri's window. I see Meri lying shirtless on the bed with his lips on the girl's. The girl has already taken off her shirt. I'm almost shaking here. I manage to say "Meri". His eyes dart towards me. As soon as he sees me my eyes widen and he pushes the girl away. "Get changed and get out," he growls at the girl who has fallen to the ground in shock. Frightened, she puts on her shirt and runs out of the room. Meri tries to grab my wrist but I pull my hand away. "Touch. Me. Not. On" I say. "Sage," he says softly. "Yes, that's my name. Well seen and who was that. No Sage in my opinion" I grumble. I want to climb out the window again when I feel two hands on my hips. I want to punch them away but he's too strong. I sigh. He pulls me onto his lap on the bed. As soon as he sits down and his grip loosens, I immediately sit next to him. "I'm sorry," he says and looks at me. You can see he is shocked. and he is sorry but I don't know... "I don't know anymore" I sigh and before I know it a tear is dripping down my cheek. He pulls me into his arms and gives me a hug. I allow it. He presses a kiss to my forehead.

When I'm calmer he lets me go. "Maybe we should just be best friends. Like before" I say softly. He sighs and nods cautiously. "Then it's over?" I say softly. He lowers his eyes and nods. I press a kiss on his cheek. "Sorry," I mumble against his cheek. I get up and walk to the window to climb back to my room. "You can sleep here too?" I still hear Meri say. "no, I still have to learn. If I don't pass that English test next, mom will kill me" I laugh. Meri shakes his head, laughing. I want to climb the tree but maybe I should have taken Meri up on his offer. "AHHH!" I scream. I'm wrong. I would have fallen all the way down if no one had grabbed my arm. I look up in shock. "Calm down. I got you" says Meri.
