Chapter 3

The next day Gitae and Sunwoo had the same class in the morning. Gitae had arrived earlier than Sunwoo.

Sunwoo arrived moments before class started. His eyes were glued on his phone because of texting Taejoon. He only noticed that class wasn't pecked like yesterday so he shooted straight to the empty seats at the back of the class, passing by Gitae who was waiting for him. Gitae watched at Sunwoo passed by him without so much as a single glance at him. He frowned a little watching Sunwoo sit at the back. He faced the front as their professor walked in and greeted everyone.

Sunwoo raised his head after hearing their professor greeting everyone. He then noticed Gitae sitting in front of him by two desks on the right. He hid himself even though Gitae wasn't paying attention to him anymore. Most of the class went by with Sunwoo mostly paying attention to Gitae. Once class ended he bolted out of the class. Gitae saw him though. He packed his stuff quickly so that he could catch up to Sunwoo and they could talk.

Sunwoo saw Taejoon after stepping out of the class. "Huh? Hyung? What are you doing here? I thought we said we'd meet up a bit later. I wanted to freshen up a bit after my class before we go."

"Oh, there's no need for that. It's not like it's our anniversary or something. No need for you to glamourise yourself for our date." Taejoon's words caught Gitae's attention. He had heard them talking. He passed right passed them instead of talking to Sunwoo like he had wanted to.

Sunwoo watched Gitae pass them. Taejoon booped Sunwoo's nose. He chuckled softly. Sunwoo furrowed his brow before slapping Taejoon's hand away from his face. "Stop fooling around." Taejoon frowned while rubbing on his hand. "Let's go." Sunwoo left making Taejoon follow him. They went to KFC at the mall.

They ate while chatting about life and recent events which helped Sunwoo unwind from his current situation. "Don't you think people will hear you being fruity with me and think you're gay?" Sunwoo asked as he bit into his burger.

"I don't care. I'M RICH! Ha ha!" Taejoon laughed like an idiot. Sunwoo shook his head. "I'm obviously kidding. But I really don't care. I'm taking a break from dating anyway. Too many slaps on one side." He rubbed on his cheek. Sunwoo chuckled a little.

Saturday arrived, the day of the first group meeting. It took Sunwoo hours to come up with a "normal outfit". He woke up three hours in advance just to choose an outfit that won't bring him any unwanted attention. 'Phew~ I can't believe we're going to meet up today. I know it's for our assignment and it won't be just the two of us but I still feel nervous.'

Once he finally got the outfit he left and headed to the cafe they had agree to meet up at. He nervously greeted Gitae who was already seated. He panicked immediately after seeing that it was only the two of them that actually showed up. 'No! Why did they have to do this to me! I don't want to be alone with Gitae for five hours!'

"Uh, it looks like we're the only ones that showed up." Sunwoo chuckled nervously to ease the atmosphere but Gitae was pissed. He was really pissed and he didn't hide it. He took out his laptop from his bag angrily along with his textbook and note book. "I'll check the group chat." Sunwoo took his phone out from his pocket and opened the group chat. Only Yena and Junji had sent a message while Myeongi remained quiet. Junji said she couldn't make it because the meeting time clashed with her regular schedule and Yena only said she was busy.

'I can't believe this. They just made up excuses and Myeongi sunbae didn't even bother with saying anything.' Sunwoo cursed in his head.

"I guess they are caught up with other stuff." He put his phone back into his pocket. "We can get started on our own."
