1. New family...?

Rays POV:

What is happening?! I just got undirectly rejected by my crush and now this?!

I stood in front of a massiv mansion, with a girl that seemed to be my Real biological twin sister and a grown woman that claimed to be my biological mother.

"We live in there?" I asked my "New" sister Tessa. "Yarp! But I first want to pick up someone else, you need to met her, shes your Cousin after all." Tessa said as the woman that was my "mother" Iris walked to the enterence of the house. We didnt follow her, instead Tess pulled out her phone and called someone. As the person on the other end of the phonecall picked up Tessa yelled: "Nicole! Get your ass in front of my house I have something important to show you!" and then ended the call.
"Now we need to wait." Tessa said with a smile.

Not much time later a brown haired girl came. "Tessa!" The girl started running to us but slowed down until she stopped as she saw me. I looked down at my feet, kinda feeling embaressed. "Who's that?" the stranger asked, pointing at me with her index finger. "Oh thats my long lost twin brother Ray." I turned slightly red from how embaressing the way Tessa called me was. My twin turned to me again and placed he hand gently on my left shoulder. "Ray, that is Nicole, my and now also your cousin."

"Nice to meet you." I said quietly.
Ni: "Ray... Do you have a crush?"
R: "Well..."
T:"DONT TELL HER!"
Ni&R: "Huh..?"
T: "Dont trust Nicole, shes bad at keeping secrets."
Ni: "No, I'm not."
T: "You literally told everyone about me and Hannah!"
Ni: "An-"

"Guys?! Can we go inside now?" I tryed to stop the two from arguing more.

And now, just some minutes after Tess, Nicole and I were sitting in Tessas room. I tryed to not bother to much so I just tryed to stay quiet the whole time. "Hey, Theresa? Will you invite some friends to meet Ray too?" My cousin asked. "Right...!"

Theresa takes out her phone, types something into it histericly and taps on the screen some times befor she layed he phone away again. "Hehe... now they will come over."

Just some moments after a Group of 5 girls walked in and Tessa told them that I was her twin brother but befor she could introduce me properly a older man, probably around 20 walked into the room. "What do you want, Stefan?" Tessa said to the grown man in a annoyed tone. "I want to talk to your 'brother'."

I looked at the man nervously. He seemed pretty strict so I was very nervous about talking to him. He took me outside of Tessas room so we could talk alone in the corridor

S: "Where do you come from, kiddo?"
R: "Excuse me?"
S: "Where do you come from so suddenly?"

I couldnt possibly tell him that I came from a human-farm.

R: "I-"

Befor I could say anything it knocked on the door and it slightly opened so the knocking person was seeable. It looked like another girl... but also not. On the other side of the door stood a person that actually didnt look like anything. They had a feminine looking face but wore baggy, masculine clothes. "God..! Quinn, do you know how to use a doorbell?" The older man almost yelled. "Sorry that I knocked 5 times befor and waited." Also their name didnt help me figure out what gender that New person was.

The stranger named Quinn opened the door completly and looked at me. "Tess? Whats that haircut about? Are you in your emo Phase or something?" Quinn said mockingly. "Quinn, that isnt Tess." Stefan trew in. "Thats Tessas lost brother Ray." "Oh..."

The unidentified human individual looked away and their face lit up in a bright red colour from probably being embaressed. "o-Oh... I'm sorry..." they said quietly, as if being uncomfortable. "Uh... no Problem."

The person that misstook me for my sister now looked at me and also their face went back to a normal colour again. "I'm Quinn. He/him." He introduced himself with his pronouns as if he knew I was struggeling to find out his gender. "Ray... also he/him..." It was kinda strange saying my pronouns but that doesnt matter.

By now the strict older man Stefan went away Quinn and I were just kinda stareing at eachother in a somehow akward but not akward way.

Quinn grabbed my hand slightly. The sudden physical contect surprised me because he seemed like a rather shy person. He pulled me to the end of the corridor "Lets sit down somewhere." Quinn set down on the floor in front of me as he let go of my hand. I sit down as well. I chose to sit down directly next to him so we didnt need to look into eachothers eyes.

Thats so sudden... He seems like a totally other person.

"Where have you been the whole time you were missing, Ray?"

Again such a question... but this time if feels slightly different to when that Stefan guy asked me. For some reason it felt like I could trust Quinn more so I just desided to tell him. I took a deep breath as the nervousness kinda spread inside of me. "I was like a cattle on a farm... I come from a strange Monster world where children get 'planted' for Monsters to eat. I escaped from there and now I'm here."

Oh.. wow... that was reliefing... and what could possibly happen... either he believes me or not.

"Wow... thats rough... but thats in the past, you are safe now."

I slowly leaned my body agains Quinns side so that my head lays on his shoulder. His body was warm, warm like the hugs mom always gave me..."Thank you."

Quinn didnt seem to mind that little bit of physical touch. "I'm glad that you dont think I'm crazy, Quinn." He just nods quietly in respond.

I somehow felt comfortable around that person that I just met some moments ago. He is somehow kind and his body feels warm. I closed my eyes, enjoying the warmth of Quinns body.

"You know Ray..." He began "Your sister is kinda cruel and manipulative... I wanted to warn you befor you grow closer with her." What did he mean? Tessa seemed like a nice person? But I'll take his warning seriously. "But... arent you her friend?" "I am. Just try to keep that in mind for now. She does cruel things to the people she doesnt like... like doxing and stuff like that."
"Did she ever do something to you?"

It took Quinn some time to answer. "No, she never did anything to me." Quinn had a kinda upset look on his face as he looked down slightly. "I'm glad she didnt." I said as I hugged Quinn around the shoulders carefully. He looked upset and I didnt knew what else could help.

And that was the start of a strange but nice relationship...
