It was lunch on a Monday, all six of the group were sitting together, Aiden looked like he was about to cry, he clenched his stomach area as he rested his head on the table clearly in pain.
"Are you okay?" Ashlyn asked knowing something was wrong.
"No my stomach just hurts really bad...." Aiden groaned.
"Did you eat something bad?" She added and smiled at him.
"I said I'm fine!" Aiden yelled and lifted his head up and then set it down, Ben rubbed his back.
"Okay then..." ashlyn sighed and started eating her mashed potatoes again. Everyone else sat there in silence because all the boys except for Tyler knew that he liked Ashlyn, and both of the twins knew that Ashlyn liked Aiden, Ben was the only one who actually knew what was up with Aiden at the current moment.
"Why do you act so different around me than everyone else?" Ashlyn asked and gave everyone else at the table a look that told them to leave her and Aiden alone, so everyone left it was the two of them, they both looked so upset they both looked like they wish they could just tell each other they were different and then confess there love for one another, but it just didn't work like that.
"I don't know..." Aiden started tearing up.
"I have a feeling you do." Ashlyn sighed and walked over and sat down next to Aiden. "I don't know why you don't like me...maybe you do and it's something about yourself. I want you to know I don't care if you're different." With that Ashlyn got up and went to the library to read.
"Why...out of all the times for my stupid uterus to act up...if this hadn't happened..I probably would've had the courage to tell her..." Aiden thought to himself as he walked into the nurses office to get pain meds for his cramps.
