Hestia: A blessing! Seriously?! You think that having glowing eyes and seeing in the dark is a blessing! Oh wait no! And also claws sprouting from my nail beds!
Hestia mom: Yes! It's a gift! A very cherished and amazing gift that goes back to your great great great great great grandfather and his brother! Your father sadly was shunned when he married me! So it's your Legacy now!
Hestias dad: I thought my family dynasty would end with my father; but you've shown signs of the Bastet Alpha Family Legacy. So it's your responsibility now.
Hestia: We'll I don't want it. I do t suppose I can return it to the sender? (She say's sarcastically.)
Hestia dad: Absolutely not Hestia! That's not how this works. You know how it works.
Hestia: Ofcoarse I do! That's all you and grandpa talk about!
Hestias mom: I think we all need to cool down. Let's go get some Ice Cream.
Hestias dad: This can't wait. We need to prepare her.
Hestias mom: I know; but she's only 17. Can't we prepare her next week? When she's done with midterms??
Hestias dad: No. it has to be now Lanette. Hestia has to know what this means for her future.
Hestias mom: But she hasn't even had her first kiss yet! Can't she just be a teenager for a while longer?
Hestias dad: no lanette. She cant. Being the only naturally born female to the Bastet Alpha legacy; she has a lot more complications and responsibilities for her than her male counterparts.
Hestia: What's that supposed to mean? I don't have an arrangement marriage to do I? (She says sarcastically.)
