Unsteady love

Chapter 1

I woke up earlier than I normally would and I just don't know why. I got up off my bed and went into my bathroom that was attached to my room.

I played music from my phone and brushed my teeth. I then hoped into the shower and cleaned up. I was singing all my favorite songs from 5sos or if you don't know 5 seconds of summer.

I hoped back out and got dressed into a white crop top with black lettering that said "Don't kill my vibe", black leggings, a red and black flannel around my waist and pulled on some black come back boots.

I went back into my bathroom. I blow dried and curled my hair not too curly but like a beach wave. Then I put on my conseler, foundation, winged out eyeliner, mascara, and some eos on my lips.

When I was finished and satisfied with my look I walked to my room and grabbed my phone, keys, wallet, and my penny board. I ran downstairs and put my stuff down. I was feeling hungry so I went over to the fridge and pulled out my overnight granola, yogart, and strawberry breakfast that was in a mason jar. It is really easy to make but make it before you go to bed so it is ready for you in the morning.

After I ate my amazing breakfast I grabbed my phone and my wallet then put them in my back pockets. Then I grabbed my penny board and walked outside.

Oh gosh please help me. It was the one and only dushebag of the neighborhood and in school: Kian Lawley and Jc Caylen.

"Hey Kelsey!" Kian smirked at me.

"What to do you want?" I walked into the street to get ready to ride to my best friends house.

"Just wanted to check up in you since I haven't in 4 years." He walked over to me with his bleached hair flying in the light breeze perfectly.

"Ok, well im on my way to Connors so goodbye. Thanks for the check up I guess." I put my penny board down and stood on it.

"Anytime Kels." He winked.

I froze when he said that. I mean he hasn't called me that since freshmen year, and we still go to the same college so its been a while.

"What's wrong?" He looked at me with his eyes beginning to sparkle.

"Uh-um, its just been a long time since you called me that, or even talked to me. And here you are talking to me." I laughed.

"Yeah, well talk to you later. Me and Jc are going to breakfast before we head off to a party." He waved.

"This early?" I asked confused.

"No not til later, but still. Bye Kels." He smiled and walked back over to Jc on their porch.

"Bye Keen!" I hollered back using his nickname.

He looked back and be was blushing pretty bad as he smiled at me. I whipped the thought of that out of my head and began to skate to Connors who was only a few blocks away.

As soon as I got there I bent down and grabbed my penny board. I held it in my hands admiring the light blue pastel body and the light pastel pink wheels. I put it by my side holding it in one arm and walked closer to the door.

"Hey Kelsey, come in!" Connor opened the door and greeted me with a smile.

"Hey Connor!" I hugged him happy to see him again.

"I've got something I need to tell you." His smile began to fade.

"Okay, I'm ready for more strange things today." I laughed.

"What strange thing happened today?"

"I'll tell you after you tell me what you wanted to tell me." I smirked.

"Ok. Well you may or may not like this, but I'm joining Kian, Jc, Ricky and two other guys in a youtube group called O2l." He smiled brightly.

"That's awesome!" I leaped into a hug.

"But I thought you didn't like Kian or Jc." He looked confused.

"I'm happy for you whether or not I like them. And I still need to tell you that one thing I wanted to tell you." I hoped off his waist from the hug.

"Go ahead, I'm all ears." He moved his towards me. I couldn't help but giggle.

"Ok, me and Kian actually talked today and its been 4 years." I tried to smile.

"Hey, that's called progress." He side hugged me.

"Ok. But still I miss me and his friendship we had and then Jc got mad at him and they both became douchbags." I frowned.

"This is just a work in progress." He smiled. (His book; a work in progress; never mind)

"I guess it is." I smiled back. "Let's go and eat, my breakfast was good but not filling." I laughed.

"I'll get my keys." He laughed and grabbed them off the table and we walked out to his car and I sat in the passengers seat.

We got to a place we finally agreed on and walked in. It smeeled so good I smiled widely like and idiot I was.

"Hey Kels." Kian walked up to us and laughed.

"Hey Keen." I smiled giving him a quit awkward hug.

"Oh hey Connor. So you and Kelsey?" Kian smiled as Jc nudged him with his elbow.

"No, we are just best friends." Connor laughed.

"Okay, whatever you say?" Jc laughed.

"Are you two okay?" I was getting nervous.

"Yeah, just we got a little excited that's all." Jc smiled and they walked off without a hug or goodbye.

"Well goodbye to you too?" I laughed.

"Its okay. You'll see them later I'm sure." Connor walked up to a booth and sat down.

"So they are having a party, wanna come with me?" Connor put his menu down.

"I'd love to! Can Hannah come?" I asked giving him puppy dog eyes.

Hannah Jane Dickerson is another close friend of mine but not as close ad me and Connor. They were high school sweet hearts but she cheated on him with my ex Danny Alan Lennardson. I know right weird name.

"Um-uh, why Hannah? Why not Rachael? You guys are some what close." He tried to reject.

"Racheal Peters and I are sworn enemies. What a best friend you are! Fine Hannah won't come." I put my hands up in surrender.

Nah, Hannah is coming I'm going to text her later.
