Chapter I-My old life is gone

I never would have thought I would die this way... 

I was just minding my business buying a beef sandwich with my sister, after leaving the zoo, when I ran into Lindsay the most annoying girl I have ever met. Lindsay was ''the'' perfect girl. Perfect hair, family, friends and grades. 

I, on the other side, was far from perfect except for the grades. My hair is floppy and ginger (THE worst hair color in my opinion), my father disappeared after I was born leaving mom and Miranda (my sister who was 5!) alone and I don't have friends but I wonder if virtual one's count? And finally, my grades the reason why I got on Lindsay's bad side. I joined Lindsay's and Miranda's school when I was 7. Before I had a private tutor because I was a smart kid, but when mom lost her job and things were pretty tough at the time I got enrolled in the local public school with Miranda, and Lindsay was the top of the class already. 

But after a week I had taken her spot! She was furious and targeted me ever since. Other kids joined her and soon I was the official carrot-head nerd of the school being bullied at every occasion.

What a coincidence LINDSAY bumped into me BY ACCIDENT! (can you hear the irony in my voice right now?) 

''Oh, sorry pumpkin hair. She said with a smirk, I didn't see you there'' 

Of course you didn't! I whispered to myself. 

''What was that Carrot-Nerd? I did not hear you... 

Leave me alone Lindsay! I'm not in the mood right now for games.

 Oh, I'm not playing games, I'm just horrified to see you harming animals like that! Look at that beef sandwich! You know, if you eat that every day you are going to become very fat and be a real pumpkin, you know a giant one."

Suddenly Miranda stepped into our conversation and asked Lindsay what was her problem in a stern way. You know, the big sister way. 

''And you are?..." asked Lindsay, then after glancing towards Miranda, she said: 

"A another carrot head! Hahaha this is my lucky day! And I thought gingers were rare..."

Just as Miranda was about to give her a piece of her mind everyone started hurrying away like a bomb had just dropped on the floor. 

Weird... 

Then we all heard a big CRASH and the sound of car wheels spinning uncontrollably towards us. 

The last thing I saw was a headlight coming straight at me before....

 Darkness

Light shimmered in front of my eyes...

 I opened them to come face to face with Lindsay in a white room, like nothing but endless white. Lindsay's eyes were still closed and when she opened them, I jumped back. Her lovely blue eyes had turned into a deep brown. She frowned and said, 

''What is it? Do I have a spot on my face? Or are you just being weird again Nerd?

N...no your eyes turned brown!

WHAT!! No no no no you're lying!" 

She pulled out a small mirror from her purse and screamed when she had a look at her reflection
