The struggle of lovers

ChapterI~{The confusion?}

There once lived a girl named Charollet and a man named Kai. They were best friends and probably since 3rd from what everyone can remember. Charollet is 22 years old and Kai is 23 years old, only one year age difference. Which was a cool, Charollet and Kai were totally inseparable to be exact. They traveled all around the world together too places like Korea and Japan along with France! All kinds of places and met lots of people and even learned how to speak different languages. Kai and Charollet soon ended up in Tokyo too go sight seeing it was also the cherry blossoming session, so it was a beautiful soft pink around on the ground that was covered in pink petals of the cherry blossoms that grew on the trees above them. And at the moment they were both in kimonos, Kai was in a royal blue colored kimono and Charollet was in a light pink one with cherry blossom patterns on it. And Charollet had her long, light brown, silky hair in a traditional bun like the rest of the Japanese woman do. As for Kai he had short curly dark brown hair. He stared at Charollet for a moment before finally speaking.

Kai, "Charollet, you look amazing in that pink kimono! I didn't expect it to fit you."

Charollet had looked up at him with a slight sharp look as she thought he was calling her short. So Charollet just crossed her arms and scoffed with a annoyed frown.

Charollet, "Oh and I wasn't expecting you to be talking you skyscraper. I mean I'm surprised they had kimonos that's big enough to cover your whole body."

Charollet didn't like when people said something about her height or anything about her that sounded insulting towards her. And she was taking Kai's words as if he were saying something about her height, even though he didn't mean it in that way and was just saying the size of the kimono was in a large and Charollet was able to fit into a medium.

Kai, "No! I didn't mean it too sound like that I'm sorry if it did sound like that, Charollet-"

Charollet then cut in before Kai could finish he's sentence.

Charollet, "No- wait. It's my bad, I was being too rude because I thought you were talking about my height even if you weren't."

She spoke in a soft voice as she apologized to Kai. Kai then sighed deeply as he slouched his shoulders down in a relaxed way, as he knew that Charollet didn't mean to be rude because she was insecure about it(due to names people would call her).

Kai, "Okay then whatever you say, Charollet. And please don't think I'm being mean to you. your my best friend and I don't want you to think I'm a bad friend t you."

Charollet then sighed as Kai said that he didn't want her to take it into affiance if it sounded like he was calling her small/short. Charollet then nodded in response as she didn't want Kai to be upset by her words or tone of voice that she had just used on him like that. But then Kai pulled Charollet closer to him looking down at her with a smirk and her cheeks turned a rosy red as it was to close for comfort for Charollet. She then nugged Kai away from her to put some space in between them and she sighed as he let her go with out putting up a argument or asking about it. But he did look down at her with confusen when she backed away from him like that but when he seen her bluing slightly he just sighed thinking that she didn't like contact like that because it was to close for her.

Kai, "Someone's embarrassed to be hugged by her best friend, Hm?~"

He said in a teasing tone without knowing anything about what Charollet was going to say next.

Kai, "Does someone have a little crush on me? Or do you just feel uncomfortable next to me because everyone is staring at us-"

Charollet, "So WHAT if I do! It's not like you'll even notice it or even like me back-..."

Kai went silent at the statement that Charollet just made about here feelings for Kai. Of course he never noticed it and never thought of it at all. He always thought she was just uncomfortable because he was so popular with other girls when they went on trips around the world like this. Kai stared at Charollet completely silent not knowing what to say. Charollet then looked up at him and Kai noticed tears in the corner of her eyes as she always had been inverted and quite about her feeling but Kai couldn't do anything because it was like his whole body had froze in place. People were walking passed the both of them but to Kai it was like everything around his was in slow mode and blurry. Charollet then looked down before saying something in a soft tone.

Charollet, "And if you want to stay friends we can but I want you to forget all of this if you do want to stay friends, Okay? Because I don't want us to have an awkward trip before we go back to our home town."

Charollet said whipping her tears away with a soft expression. This was Something big to Charollet from what Kai could tell so he sighed as he came back into reality after having a long thought about it at first and pulled Charollet in for a kiss that she'd never forget. It was like it was pulled out a fairy tale for Charollet. And to make matters even better for her it was her first Kiss, yes a 22 year old woman who hasn't had her first kiss yet. she had always been waiting for Kai to kiss her after all these years. They had been friends for year(Ever since 3rd).
