Y/n went about her day at school, barely being awake to hear a word the teacher has to say. She ate during every period but surprisingly she's not failing. I sat in third period, surviving off my third bar of chocolate and a big bag of chips. Third period is Ms. Swenson, she's very annoying Incase you were wondering. She could talk for hours and hours and hours non stop. I just tuned her out half of the time because I already know the work.

As I typed up my essay I glanced over to the clock as if time would just magically speed up. There was only 20 more minutes but it felt like hours had gone by. As I looked around I could see students slumped over and others stressed out. I could also see my friends making silly faces towards the red haired lady. I laughed with them as they stuck up their fingers with zero remorse. My friends always made me feel at home even on my worse days. There was always a place for me.

As school ended I waved goodbye to my friends and made my way to the front of the school where I knew my father would be. As I brushed past a student holding the door a black Rolls Royce pulled in front. I made my way to the car with tinted windows and got in. I greeted my dad as I pestered him to pull off. As I sat with my music playing loudly I could still hear him asking about my day. "It was fine." I muttered. He nodded then looked at me as if pondering about something. He finally looked at me as if he made up his mind and let it out. "You know, some old friends of mine are in town. They're coming over for dinner tonight." I rolled my eyes a little but I nodded my head and looked out the window.
