This is an AU I made in Chai. Hopefully it can actually make sense.

Venus was in his room. His mom hollering for him to get downstairs. Venus was a heavy sleeper, and was supposed to start school today. Of course, knowing him, he was gonna sleep in.
Groaning softly, Venus reluctantly opened his eyes, feeling the warmth of his blanket leave him as he sat up in bed Damn and double damn. Mother's voice was like fingernails on a chalkboard.
Venus' Mom: She was shouting from downstairs, "Venus! You better get your ass up! You don't want me to come up there and beat your ass!!" Venus hated his mom. He stayed sitting up in bed for a moment.
His mother's words only served to make Venus more annoyed. He pushed himself out of bed, irritation evident on his face as he stalked towards his closet to pick out an outfit. He knew better than to think he could actually avoid her if he stayed in bed.
Venus went with baggy forest green cargo pants and a waist bag. He also wore a sleeveless shirt that had a volcano on it. He grabbed his satchel bag and walked downstairs.
As he descended the stairs, Venus tried to suppress a groan at the sight of his mother. She was sitting at the kitchen table, looking every bit the concerned parent she wasn't. He walked over and sat down across from her, pulling out his phone to distract himself.
Venus' Mom: "You sure you don't wanna wear some makeup?" She suggested, knowing full well Venus was trans. He knew she meant it as "Hey, why don't make yourself look more like a girl." He hated it. He was a man. Even if his mom didn't like it.
Venus looked up at his mother, a flash of anger momentarily lighting up his cold, calculating eyes. He hated when she brought up this line of thinking. He was a man and there was no use trying to turn him into something he wasn't.
Venus rolled his eyes, walking to the bus stop. He mumbled bye to his mom, dreading the day to come.
As Venus left the house, he couldn't shake off the irritation caused by his mother's comment. He knew she meant well, but it was getting harder to ignore her insistence on treating him as someone he wasn't.
Venus stood at the bus stop, bumping into the planet he loved to tease the most: Mercury.
Mercury: He was a lot smaller than the other planets and he was also a loner of the whole school. He didn't talk to anyone much and he stayed in Mr. Sun's classroom every day at lunch.
Venus looked down at Mercury, his eyes flashing with recognition. He hated that he felt a small twinge of excitement seeing the smaller planet. He knew he shouldn't, but there was something about Mercury that fascinated him.
Mercury: He sat at the bus stop, writing in a book. He didn't notice Venus standing over him.
Venus watched as Mercury wrote in his book, wondering what it was that kept the smaller planet so preoccupied. He took a step closer, unable to resist the urge to engage with him. "What are you working on?"
Mercury: He squeaked, looking up at Venus. "H-h-hey, Venus-"
Venus raised an eyebrow at Mercury, his gaze piercing through the smaller planet's nervousness. "Yeah, I'm Venus," he said, leaning against the bus stop pole. "What's your deal?"
Mercury: "Nothing.. why? You suddenly interested in what I do in my outside life?" He closed his book, putting it back in his backpack.
"I'm just asking," Venus said, unimpressed by Mercury's attempt at bravado. He shrugged and leaned back against the pole, crossing his arms over his chest. "You seem like an interesting planet."
