A dog?

Dean, Sam, and Castiel prepare to head out on the road to check out a strange happening in another state (A/N I didn't know what to write for this part so don't hate! 😛) "Come on Cas stop staring at that squirrel and get in the car" Sam said as Dean looked at the route. "Sorry but I find them so intriguing." Cas apologized. Cas got up from sitting on a stump watching the squirrel and started towards the Impala. Just as Sam was going to get in, a little black dog came racing towards them startling Cas. "What the hell?!" Dean shouted as it raced past him. The dog skidded to a stop and sat at Sam's feet and panted. "What the? Hey there!" Sam said, the dog leapt into the impala in sam's spot still staring at him. "What do you want little bud?" Sam questioned (A/N:sorry if this doesn't sound like Sam! I'm trying my best) Sam then noticed the little rolled up note around the dog's neck. " huh?" Sam quickly scanned the note and immediately told Dean "hey this dog has a note! It's addressed to us!". "Well read it!" Dean said annoyed, Sam read the note aloud. " Dear Winchesters (and Castiel also),
My name is Madi and this little rascal in front of you is Halo. This may seem sudden but I need you to take care of her. I trust you and only you to take her. she is a special dog that you will not regret seeing and/or taking care of. 'Why? Why should I take care of this strange dog that came up to me?' Well I'm going to be gone soon and I can't trust anybody else. You see, my inner demon Marziria has gotten out of hand and is planning to get rid of me, permentaly. She knows the secrets of Halo and is planning to use her for evil. Please meet me at the local diner on albatross view. We'll talk. Trust me about this please you Guys are my only chance.

Cas and Dean stared at Sam and the note in his hand. " do you trust her?" "Should we go there?" They questioned. Sam thought about it for a moment and replied "I guess we could try it, I mean she sounded pretty upset and serious." Dean started up the impala and said "whatever you say! Put the mutt in the back with Cas." Dean then muttered something about not trusting dogs and hoping this one was potty trained. Cas lifted the dog and carefully put her in the back and sat down.

A/N: so this is my first book so sorry if it's sloppy. I came up with the idea while laying in bed with my own dog, cookie, who is the inspiration behind Halo. The dog on the cover at the moment is what she looks like!
