HER CALL

You walk upon the shore. The sand brushes against your feet, and the wind blows a sweet gentle breeze across your face. The waves play a soothing song, and the sky fades into a watercolor pink.

You hear an angelic, alluring, yet hypnotizing voice coming from the sea. The song echoes to you, and you realize you're yet halfway into the ocean waters.

The song seemed to have stopped, and so you exit the waters, questioning what had happened.
"What was that voice?" you wonder to yourself.
You decide to head home, and perhaps research any related topic.

You arrive home and sit on your bed. The bed creaks, and you sink slowly into your mattress Looking outside, you notice it is morning, and the sun was out. It was quiet, and in-active outside, and it felt eerie. The voice you heard, what was it? You've read through many books about "sirens," and you didn't think they went by shore. Birds are chirping, flowers are blooming, and just thinking about what had happened made your stomach fall to your knees. The sun eventually reached a point where it had shined right through your window, making a beautiful sun ray. Nobody was up yet it seems, so you decide to go for a walk.

Outside was warm with a cool breeze, and summer leaves fell from trees. Cars drove by, but it was only 2 every 10 minutes a most. You inhale the sweet breeze of the morning and look over the cliff that held a small forest leading to the same beach. That voice you heard drowns you in curiosity, and so you decide to visit the beach once more.
