Setting: Bed

Time: 2:45 am

Imani's Pov

I woke up to an annoying banging above our heads. Thats weird because I'm the type of girl who slept threw a fire drill....... thank God it was only a drill. I guess having a baby makes you more alert and aware of your surroundings.

"Roc" I started shaking him softly. He still didn't wake up. "Babyyyyyy" He groaned and looked up at me.

"Whaat"

"Those people over top of us won't shut up"

"There prolly just getting back at us for making all that noise last night" We laughed and then I remembered something.

"Oh lort we forgot to pick Juani up last night."

"I sure yo mom didn't mind watching her longer"

"I'm sure of that too but now she gon wonder how we forgot to pick up our only daughter."

"Baby go back to sleep"

"I can't"

"Why"

"Because of them" i said pointing to the ceiling

"Ignore it"

"Ugggh fine...I gotta go with my mother tomorrow anyway"

"For what?"

"I gotta ask bout moving to L.A with you"

"You didn't do that yet"

"Nope. I'm actually still not gonna ask. I'm gonna tell her that to make sure that we both get equal time with Juani we decided its best for me to move in."

"Doesn't even sound like those words came out of your mouth."

"I know right. Oh well"

"Now that you've talked so much, can you go back to sleep?"

"We'll see" He kissed my cheek and put his arm around me.

"Good night" he said already sleep.

"Night"

Setting: Bed (later that day)

Time: 12:37

Imani's Pov

"Imaaaaniiii" Roc shook me and softly. I rolled over and ignored him.

"GEETT UPP" I groaned and ignored him again.

"Imani if you do not get up in the next 5 seconds I will whoop your a**." Gotta say that got my attention but I stayed in the same position and spoke to him calmly.

"Mr. August, I am a verry bad girl and I'm highly fond of a** whoopings. So I say to you with the Utmost respect, if don't get out my ear 'in the next 5 seconds' I will whoop YOUR a**." I felt him hesitate and sigh.

"Don't forget that your having lunch-"

"Omg my mom" I jumped up and ran to the shower. Turned it on and while the water was heating up I ran to grab a towel and my robe. I ran back to the shower, brushed my teeth, stripped, threw our clothes out the shower from last night, and got in.

"Ugghhhhhh" I groaned in frustration as I realized I forgot my shower cap.

"You okay?" Roc said opening the bathroom door.

"Yea"

"Okay" I swear that boy is too sweet. Its good to know that I can just count on him for anything and he'll be here for me. I heard him walk out and close the door behind him.
