"So, tonight? What time?"

"The event start at 9pm Ethan. So I hope you can come. I have someone to introduce to you."

"I will."

The guy named Ethan ended his call and sit on the couch while laying his both legs on the table in front.
He scroll up through the apps Insta and what caught his eyes is when the news of a girl and her younger brother die yesterday night around 11pm, and their dead bodies were found at the bushes.

"Shit. How come I didn't know about this earlier?!" He said and got mad at himself.

He gets up and makes a phone call with his assistant, Yoonji.
"Yoon, you did not update me any case yesterday why?"

The girl behind the phone call close her eyes and shut her mouth for a moment, she was about to tell him but he was so busy yesterday that she couldn't get a chance to tell him.

"I would like to tell you but you seem very busy yesterday."

"Thats not the good reason Yoon. I'm an inspector, I have to know everything!" He then ended the call with unsatisfied feelings.

Ethan got up and leave his phone at the living room, he washed himself and get ready for the event that his father had planned.

"Ethan finally you come!" The guy smile a little and outstretched his hand to make a handshake with his father's friend.

"Have a drink." His father pass a glass of Soju to his son but Ethan immediately shook his head, "I'm driving Dad. So, no."

"Oops my bad. Then here a soda only for you." Ethan took it and takes a sip.

His eyes wandered around, the party were crowded with people dancing and drinking. The room is too dark and the only light that filled the room was in blue and red color which makes him a bit dizzy with the atmosphere.

Ethan move away from his father's section and went to sit on the stool around the bar table. His eyes landed on a girl with short hair, wearing black dresses knee-length and have a butterfly clip on her hair.

He slowly approaching to her place with a can of soda still in his hand, "are you alone?" Ethan asked which makes the girl startled with his sudden presence.

The girl turn her head to face the voice and just nod her head as answer to his question. Ethan raised his eyebrows, "interesting" he thought.
He sat next to her and just watched her step that currently reading something in her phone.

She shut her phone when she felt someone is eyeing her movements. She looks on the right and saw how Ethan was looking at her while smiling.
The girl exhaling angrily and raised her eyebrows to him.

"Nothing, Im waiting for you to introduce yourself—"

"Ethan! Here you are— Rhea, you're here too. Finally both of you met each other."

"Let me have a sit first." Ethan's father sat between Ethan and Rhea. Both of them facing to him and wait for him to speak.
"So! As you guys know the news about yesterday case was spread around this town and I would like both of you to work as a team to find the real culprit of this incident. Ethan this is Rhea, She was the best investigator in Busan. Rhea this is my son, Ethan. He is an inspector in Seoul. I hope both of you get along- And before I forget, Ethan, Rhea is mute but she's not deaf."

Ethan's father stand up from his place and leaving the both.
