Shattered Heart

Izuku's POV- I haven't left my dorm in a few days. I have, however, been spending most of my time with my boyfriend, Shoto Todoroki, but today there was a 1a party and I wasn't invited. So, I'm going to hang out with Shinso and the rest of 1b.
(Gets dressed and leaves the so room, pivoting back to lock the door)
(Turns back around and walks to the elevator)
(Steps into the elevator, pressing the down arrow and floor one buttons on the wall)
Denki- HOLD THE ELEVATOR!
(Sprinting down the hall)
(Izuku puts his hand in between the doors, stopping them and also opening them back up)
(Denki jogs into the elevator, panting like a thirsty dog on a hot summers day)
Denki- Thank you, Midobro! You going to Bakugo's too?
Izuku- No, I wasn't invited. I'm going to Shinso's dorm.
Denki POV- But everyone was invited. . .everybody but Mido. Man, that's so not cool! To be completely honest, I feel terrible for him. He's always getting left out of everything the class does. Something's telling me this has something to do with Todoroki. . .
(Looks down at his outfit)
Denki- Whoa, Mido. . .are you okay? You look a little depressed. . .
(Izuku mumbles)
Izuku- I'm surprised you noticed.
No one else seems to.
Denki- Not even your boyfriend?
(Izuku shakes his head slowly, a silent tear falling)
(Denki catches it with his thumb)
Denki- Please don't cry. . .it doesn't suit you. You deserve to be happy, not sad.
(Smiles sweetly)
Denki POV- I knew this had something to do with him! That ass hole! Wait. I have an idea!
(The elevator doors slide open and Denki grabs Izuku's arm gently, tugging him out and through the dormitory's front doors)
Izuku- Waaahhh!!
(Denki is thinking while running)
Denki POV- I don't want to hurt Mido, but he needs to know the truth about who he's dating right now. The only good way to do that is to show him what Icyhot does behind his back. I saw Momo and him talking in the common room and they were confessing to each other. He's cheating, I know it! He told her he broke up with Mido, so she doesn't know either. This is gonna be fun.
(Izuku starts to get a little scared as they near the wall to Bakugo's home)
Izuku- Denki, we're going to-!
(Denki stops abruptly and Izuku slams into his back)
Izuku- Ouch. . .
(Denki turns around, worried)
Denki- I am so sorry! Are you alright, Mido?!
(Izuku laughs, rubbing his nose)
Izuku- Yeah, I just hit my nose.
Denki- Phew. . .
(Starts laughing with him)
(After a few minutes, they stop and Denki knocks on Bakugo's front door)
(Bakugo answers after a few minutes of silence, and Denki gives him a smile)
Bakugo: Hey, Dunce Face. Hey, Deku. Get your asses in here before you are seen!
(Izuku looks down, saddened and confused)
Izuku- Are you sure I'm allowed? I wasn't invited.
(Bakugo glances at Denki who nods, showing a bit of hurt in his eyes)
Bakugo- Icyhot didn't invite you? I thought he said that he invited everyone in 1a.
Denki- That's what I thought too.
(Bakugo and Denki stare at each other for a second and then nod in unison)
Bakugo- Let's go from find out what the hell is going on. Come in, Nerd.
(Izuku moves into the house slowly, nearly tripping over the door frame)
Denki- Are you okay?
Izuku- Yeah. . .I guess.
(Denki's expression is full of concern)
Denki POV- I really hope he isn't doing what I think he is. . .Izuku is too sweet for someone to do that to him. I don't have it in me to tell him this though. I don't want him to start getting worried.
(As Denki is thinking, Bakugo was leading them to the backyard)
Izuku- Where's Auntie Mitsuki, Kacchan?
Bakugo- On a business trip for a while.
(As they reach the backyard, Bakugo leaves to find Todoroki)
(Denki turns to Izuku)
Denki- Please don't let him get to you, okay? The last thing you need is to cry about someone who hurt you, Mido.
(Izuku smiles weakly at Denki's kind words)
Izuku- Okay, thank you, Kaminari.
Denki- Of course, Mido.
(Bakugo rounds a corner of bushes and finds Todoroki and Momo kissing)
(He pulls out his phone and takes a picture of it, then runs back to Denki and Izuku)
Bakugo- He really doesn't care, does he?
(Shows Denki the picture)
Denki- Fuck. I knew it! I'm gonna beat his ass!
(Anger flares up inside of him and he hugs a now crying Izuku to his chest)
Bakugo- I'll handle Icyhot. You get him back to the dorms and calm him down.
(Denki grows amused at this and grins)
Denki- Sure, Man.
(Bakugo smirks in response and stalks off towards the way he had come)
(Denki picks Izuku up and carries him to the front door, walking out casually)
(Izuku only spoke when they were a little ways from the house)
Izuku- Do y-you hate me, t-too?
(Saying this through hiccups and sobs, which forces Denki's head down to look at him in shock)
Denki- Hate you? Why on Earth would I hate you, Mido?
Izuku- Because every other person who was with me these past few days seems to.
Denki- Of course, I don't hate you. I don't have a reason to. Even if I did, I don't think I could ever bring myself to actually hate you.
(Izuku looks up at him, staring into his eyes and losing himself in them for a moment)
Denki- Are you alright?
(Izuku nods, still staring into his yellow eyes)
(Mumbles without realizing it)
Izuku- Your eyes are beautiful. . .
(Denki blushes slightly, giving away the fact that he heard him)
(Izuku breaks out of his stare and blushes a deep shade of red)
Izuku- S-sorry! I-I didn't mean to say it out l-loud!
Denki- It's okay, Mido. Thanks for the compliment.
(He smiles, a light blush still covering his face)
(Izuku started to shiver a bit and Denki risked a small glance at him)
Denki- Are you cold, Mido?
Izuku- A little. . .
(Denki smiles at him and sets the green eyed boy down on the cement for a second, taking off his black and yellow hoodie and pushing it over his head)
(Izuku blushes and smiles at the movement)
Denki- Do you want me to run you to the dorms?
Izuku- Please?
(He's still shivering)
(Falls into Denki, folding his arms into his chest)
(Denki picks him back up, starting to jog to the entrance gate, then once there, running toward his dorm)
Izuku- We're going go your dorm, right?
(Voice is still a bit hoarse)
Denki- Yeah, is that okay with you?
(He unlocks his door as he asks)
Izuku- Yeah, as long as I don't have to see him again. . .
Denki- Of course not! I won't force you to do anything!
(Izuku smiles at his kind nature)
Izuku- Thank you but. . .why are you doing this for me?
(Denki looks down at him with a sweet smile)
Denki- Because you are one person that I hope to keep as a great friend. I know you may not realize it, but you are one of the nicest people that I have ever met since we started school here at UA. Besides Eijiro, that is.
Izuku- I'm sorry for being so depressing, Denki. I haven't taken my pills yet and that usually affects me most.
Denki- I'll tell Mina to bring them here. Ohhh!
(An idea strikes him)
(No pun intended🥲😂)
Denki- What if we had our own party and invited everyone but Todoroki?
(Izuku smiles, suppressing a laugh)
Izuku- That actually sounds fun.
Denki- Let me ask Mina to get your pills and come here with the rest of the people at Bakubro's house. We'll get Shinso too, so you can explain everything. Or, better yet, I'll explain to everyone once they get here.
(This time, Izuku did laugh)
Izuku- Okay.
(Denki sets him on his bed and dials Mina's number)
Denki cell- Hey, Mina! Can you come bring Izuku his meds please? Oh, and bring everyone but Todoroki with you, and Shinso from 1b. We've got something to tell you, then we can play some games together.
Mina cell- Okay, I'm on my way! Your dorm, I'm assuming?
Denki cell- Yeah.
Mina cell- Alright, be right there! Byyyeee!
Denki cell- Bye, Mina.
(He hangs up)
Denki- They're coming.
Izuku- Okay. Are you sure this is a good idea, though?
(Denki kneels down in front of him, putting his hand on Izuku's)
Denki- Would I have suggested it if you were going to get hurt, Mido?
Izuku POV- I guess he wouldn't. . .other than Kacchan, he feels like family to me. Maybe I can trust him on this. Plus, Kacchan will be here so everything should be okay. As long as they don't find out that is. . .
Denki- Are you okay, Mido? Why are you so quiet?
(Izuku shakes himself out of his thoughts and nods)
Izuku- Sorry. I was thinking.
(Denki gives an understanding expression)
Denki- Ah. I understand, sorry if that was too intruding. It just worries me a bit, is all.
Izuku- It's okay, Denki.
(They both smile as they hear a knock sound at the door, whipping their heads around in unison)
Denki- Just a moment!
(Turns back to Izuku)
Denki- I'll be right back.
Izuku- Go. I'll be fine, Denki.
(Denki gets up and walks to the door, opening it to see Mina, Iida, Uraraka, Momo, Jiro, Kirishima, Katsuki, Shinso, Tsuyu, Tokoyami, Aoyama, Hagekure, and Sero)
Mina- Hey, Denki! Oh, here's his meds.
Denki- Thank you, Mina.
Mina- Of course, any time.
(Izuku slowly makes his way to Denki's back, wrapping his arms around the taller boy's waist)
Izuku- H-hi...
(Mumbling)
Kirishima- Wait. What exactly happened? Why is Midobro crying?
Denki- Come in and I'll explain once we sit.
(Denki and Izuku move to the side as the rest file into the room)
(After sitting down in a circle)
Kirishima- Okay, now what happened?
(Seems concerned for Izuku)
Denki- Todoroki cheated on him.
(Every person within the capacity of the room dropped their jaws and gasped in shock other than Bakugo, Denki, and Izuku)
(Probably no one was more shocked and hurt than Momo)
Momo- Oh my God! I'm so sorry, Izuku! I had no idea!
(Nearly in tears from sincerity)
(Izuku smiles softly)
Izuku- It's okay, Momo.
Kirishima- He told all of us that you guys broke up! That's so not manly, Bro!
Bakugo- Tell me about it.
(He was mumbling but everyone could hear him)
Mina- We need to get off of this topic...oh! What if we play truth or dare?!
Denki- Sure, that sounds fun.
Bakugo- Yeah, okay, whatever.
Shinso- That sounds okay, I guess.
Kirishima- Hell yeah!
(Everyone agrees and Mina hot excited)
Mina- I'm going first! Ocha, t or d?
Uraraka- Ummm...truth?
Mina- Okay! Ummm...who is your crush?
(Uraraka blushes deep red)
Uraraka- I-Iida...
Iida- Oh...
(Iida looks at her a bit shocked)
Iida- M-me?
(Uraraka nods)
Uraraka- My turn! Mina, t or d?
Mina- Dare!
(Uraraka thinks for a moment before giving the small group a smirk)
Uraraka- I dare you to kiss your crush.
(Mina blushes)
Mina- Okay...can it be on the cheek?
Uraraka- Yeah, that's fine.
Mina- Okay, thank you.
(Mina crawls around her and Iida to Jiro, pecking her on the cheek)
(Jiro blushes in response)
Jiro- You like me?
Mina- Y-yeah...
Jiro- I like you too.
Mina- Wait, really?!
(Jiro nods and Mina crawls back her spot, blushing still)
Mina- Will you be my girlfriend then?
Jiro- Sure.
(Jiro is the calmest person in the room right now, I swear🤣)
Mina- Eeeek! Thank you, Ocha!
Uraraka- You're welcome, Mina. It's your turn.
Mina- Right! I'm gonna pick two people this time so, Katsuki and Denki. T or d?
Denki- Umm...dare?
Katsuki- Well I'm not a wuss, so dare.
(Mina smirks)
Mina- Okay. I dare you two to kiss your crushes on the lips. Doesn't have to be long, doesn't have to be just one person. But do it.
(Both boys flush bright red which was a shocker because Bakugo hardly ever got flustered)
Denki- Okay.
Katsuki- Fine, whatever.
(Denki went first, looking over to Izuku who sat next to him)
Denki- I'm sorry, Mido...
(Kisses him gently on the lips)
Izuku- Mm?
(Is confused by this action but flushes a light pink)
Denki- I don't have it in me to lie to you...
(Izuku is whispering now)
Izuku- You like...me?
Denki- Yeah...
(Rubs the back of his neck)
(Katsuki crawls to where Shinso and Kirishima are sitting side by side, pecking them both on the lips once)
Kirishima and Shinso- You too?!
(All three boys look at each other and then smile)
Kirishima- Would you guys be up for a threesome? I like you both...
Shinso- I'm fine with that.
Bakugo- Sure.
(Bakugo moves his spot to next to his boyfriends)
(Denki is still staring at Izuku, waiting for a response to come to him)
Izuku- I don't really...know yet, Denki...
But I appreciate you admitting to that.
(Smiles sweetly)
Denki- I'm okay with that.
(Smiles back)
Katsuki and Denki- Now it's our turn. Mina, t or d?
Mina- Dare!
Denki- What is something you regret doing?
Mina- Watching my b st friend die right in front of my eyes and not doing anything...
(Looks down, saddened)
Denki- Damn...sorry for asking, Mina.
Mina- It's okay, you didn't know...
Katsuki- Mina, I dare you to give me a hug.
(Mina looks up at him, Abit shocked)
Katsuki- Come on. Get over here.
(Mina crawls to him, tears flowing out)
(Bakugo hugs her to his chest)
Katsuki- Just because I act like I don't give two shits all the time, does not mean I hate any of you. You're still my best friends.
(Awwee🥺)
Mina- Thank you...Kats...
Katsuki- Of course.
Mina- Okay, Izuku. T or d?
Izuku- T-truth...
Mina- Hmmm...what is one experience that you have only told one person or a few people about?
(Mina wants some 🍵😂)
(Izuku gets a little panicked and looks to Katsuki)
Katsuki- You don't have to tell them if you don't want to Izu.
(Izuku sighs and looks down at his arms)
Izuku- It's alright...my parents weren't the best is all...
Katsuki- Izuku, you know you're downplaying it!
Izuku- Okay, okay! Fine! My father murdered my mother because she was protecting me from him. Happy now?
(Every jaw except for Katsuki and Izuku's was hanging open)
(Izuku pulls his sleeves up breathing in deeply)
Izuku- He was pedophilic and abusive towards me. He's been in prison for two years now.
(Reveals the cut and burn scars all over his body)
Izuku- He would use anything. Whether it be a welding torch, baseball bat, knife, kitchen scissors, or even a gun...you name it, he's used it at least once.
(Denki has tears streaking down his face now)
Denki POV- Oh my-! Mido... why hasn't he told me..? I know I shouldn't feel like this, but it hurts me to see him in pain...
(Izuku turns to see Denki crying and covering his mouth, the expression on his face showing pure agony)
(Izuku mumbles to him)
Izuku- Are you okay...
(When the taller boy doesn't answer, Izuku hugs him tightly)
Izuku- Denki...what's wrong?
Denki- Why didn't you tell me...? Do you not trust me enough...?
Izuku- It's not that...I just didn't want you to worry. You shouldn't have to feel the need to worry for me all of the time.
(Denki hugs him back as more tears come)
Katsuki- Hey, Guys. Let's leave them to sort this out themselves.
Mina- Yeah. You're right, Bakubabe.
Katsuki- Of course I'm right, Raccoon Eyes! I'm always right!
(Yelling which causes everyone to shush him)
Mina- Let's just go, Guys.
(Everyone deserts the room and Izuku pulls a little)
Izuku- Denki...they're gone now.
(Denki looks up into Izuku's Emerald green eyes)
(Izuku has to focus hard on not getting sucked into Denki's)
(LOL that was actually kinda funny)
Denki- I love you too much to not worry, even if I hadn't known about it!
(Denki blushes and looks down, realizing what he had just told the shorter boy)
Izuku- So...you weren't lying?
(Looks at him shocked)
Denki- No...I wasn't...
(Izuku is staring into his eyes, but slowly moving forward)
(Denki is sitting in tears still)
(Izuku is merely two centimeters away from him now)
(Denki blinks one time and Izuku closes the small gap between them with a light kiss)
Denki- Mm...?
(Izuku deepens it farther by pressing his body onto Denki's)
(Denki kisses back, still a bit confused but not about to complain)
(A few minutes later, Izuku lets go and looks at him, breathing a little harder than he normally does)
Izuku- I...I love you, too...
(Denki's body reacts before his mind and he kisses Izuku again, lifting up onto his knees and holding Izuku's face in his hands)
(Izuku absently grabs Denki's waist in response)
Izuku- Mmm...
(They both let go for a second then Izuku initiates another kiss)
(After a few minutes, Denki and Izuku are laying on the floor, with Denki on top of Izuku's chest)
Denki- You're beautiful, Mido...
(Izuku laughs and pecks his lips)
Izuku- And you are hot...
(Denki smiles)
Izuku- Kami~
(His new nickname causes poor Denki to blush turnip red)
(Izuku smirks and chuckles at his facial color)
Izuku- At least I know you like it.
(Denki laughs softly)
Denki- Wow. You're so mean.
Izuku- Am I wrong though?
(Gives him a look)
Denki- No...I guess not. But still!
(Izuku just laughs)
Izuku- Oh, that reminds me. I have to tell you something about my family.
Denki- Sure, go ahead. I'm listening.
(Izuku takes a deep breath)
Izuku- My father and brother are...villains. They wanted me to join the LOV, but I refused to and that's why my father did what he did to me.
(Looks down, ashamed of himself)
(Denki's body grows rigid)
Denki- That's why...?
Izuku- Yes. I couldn't ever get out of him telling me to join and he took advantage of that fact. Kacchan was the only one that I told a few years ago, and he told someone for me. The police came and arrested him. By then he'd already killed my mom.
(Lets a few tears stream from his eyes)
Izuku- I started singing in an attempt to get everything out of my head and it worked...for a while.
(Denki sat in shock, then starts to actually realize what he had said)
Denki- Wait, you sing?! You should do it at the festival!
(Gets excited)
Denki- I'll be there cheering you on the whole time. Promise.
(Izuku thinks for a moment before responding)
Izuku- Okay. That does sound fun. I wrote my own songs and posted them online, so I should be able to do it without hesitation.
Denki- Yayyyy!
(Izuku laughs at him for a moment then debates on if he wants to reveal his real quirk or not)
Izuku POV- Should I tell him? I feel the need to... maybe I should...he won't mind will he?
Izuku- I have something else to tell you really quick Kami.
Denki- Okay, sure.
(Listens intently)
Izuku- I was born a quirkless...but got my quirk a few years after everyone else. My quirk isn't what you think it is. I have two: gender swap and voice changing.
(Denki's eyes widen)
Denki- Wait so...you were...quirkless?
Izuku- Yeah. That's why Kacchan always calls me Deku, because it means useless and that's what everyone pegged me as back in elementary school.
(WARNING: THIS IS NOT HIS ACTUAL QUIRK, IT IS MY AU)
Denki- I'm sorry...oooohhhh! I have a new nickname for you, Mido!
Izuku- What is it?
(Denki us innocent as fuck as he says this)
Denki- Bunny~
(Izuku's face turns crimson  red, making Denki laugh hard)
Izuku- How can you say that so fucking innocently?!
Denki- I don't know, Bunny. I just did.
(Izuku covers his face, embarrassed and flustered)
Izuku- Aaaahhh!
Denki- What are you gonna sing?
(Izuku uncovers his face and looks down at Denki)
Izuku- I think Breakeven...
(Denki's eyes widen in surprise)
Denki- That was you?!
Izuku- You know it?
(Denki gives him a 'seriously?' look and Izuku laughs)
Izuku- Yes, it was me. Surprised?
Denki- Um hell yeah. You bet.
Izuku- I guess I should practice right?
(Denki gasps)
Denki- Can I watch?! Please?
(Izuku laughs again)
Izuku- How am I supposed to say no to that adorable face of yours?
(Denki wiggles his eyebrows up and down)
(Izuku cackles happily)
Izuku- Hilarious.
(Gently moves Denki off of him and gets up, walking to his dorm and grabbing his guitar and mic)
(This doesn't include all of the chords that go with it)
(He walks back to Denki's dorm and sets up in an empty corner and starts playing the instrumental on his computer)
Izuku- I'm still alive, but I'm barely breathing...just praying to a God that I don't believe in. Cause I got time while she got freedom, cause when a heart breaks it don't break even.
(Skips to the main chorus)
Izuku- What am I supposed to do when the best part of me was always you? And what am I supposed to say when I'm all choked up and you're okay. I'm falling to pieces...I'm falling to pieces...
(Finishes the song and looks at Denki, who is in utter shock and awe)
(Yeah I'mma stop there for now)
