Quick intro: Nandini Rajvanshi
__________________________________Nandini looked at Sakshi and anger took over her features. She knew her. She was her batchmate. While she was trying all the tricks in the book to attract Arjun towards herself, Sakshi was being treated like a queen who deserved Arjun's undivided attention. She had always been jealous of their relationship but the fact that they never openly accepted their relationship always toned her down.
However, today was her special day, her marriage. Something for which she had waited for years. The fact that this girl came to spoil her wedding day made her really angry. She calmed herself down and gave a sweet smile to Sakshi.
"Aree Sakshi! Tum hamari shaadi me aai ho? Arjun ji ne invite Kiya tumhe?" she asked.
Arjun cringed internally at the way she referred him while Sakshi was continuously glaring at Arjun. She didn't even grace her question with a response.
Sakshi coldly- "Arjun. Mujhe tumhare dadaji se milna hai."
Preesha-"Tumhe dikhta nahi ki abhi ham--"
Sakshi- "NOW Arjun."
Arjun lead her upstairs at once. "Are you ok, Sakshi?"
"Jis insaan se tab se pyaar Kiya jab se pyaar ka matlab samjha agar wahi insaan kisi aur se shaadi ke liye taiyaar ho jaaye toh Mai kaisi ho sakti hu Arjun? " she said with raw emotion evident in her voice.
Arjun paused and gasped. This was the first time Sakshi was acknowledging her feelings towards him. He never for once thought that this confession would be so unceremonious.
Arjun- "Sakshi tum..."
Sakshi- "Mai nahi Arjun. Tum! Tum kya mere liye wahi feel karte ho Jo Mai tumhare liye karti hu?" she asked coming so close to him that their noses touch. Arjun couldn't help but look in her big, expressive eyes which held a strange yearning for love.
His heart started beating fast and sweat beads formed on his forehead. He forced himself to look away. "In sab baato ka ab kuch matlab nahi hai, Sakshi."
Sakshi turning his face towards her- "Ha ya na, Arjun?"
Arjun just looked at her. The fact that she was wearing red did not help at all. She looked so eternally gorgeous that he couldn't help but gaze at her. But what affected him more were her eyes, so familiar yet so distinct. "Ha" he admitted. His lips automatically got attracted towards hers. He was just a centimetre away from her when he pulled back and reminded himself that he was already committed.
Arjun-"I am sorry."
Sakshi-" You will be! Chalo ab. Jo raita tumne failaya hai, use saaf karte hai."
She had got all the confirmation she needed. She didn't want to impose herself upon him. Now that she knew that, he too reciprocated the same feeling towards her, she would gladly give him what he deserved and rightfully demand her rights.
