-Coffee Shop-

El and Will are walking to the nearby coffee shop near the Byer’s
house.

Will’s gloved hands in his pockets while El talks his ears off
about winter break.

Will was listening to her of course but he was very cold and he was looking at his feet while walking besides el.

“How much further is it?” He mumbles as he looks at El.

El cuts herself off then looks at him.

“Hhm?-Oh uhhhh about like 6 minutes.” She says softly while she
smiles.

“Thank god” He says in a slightly joking tone as he chuckles then
he looks back at his feet.

After a second he speaks “You can speak again-”

Before Will even said anything else she started talking.

“Oh sooo..where was i- Oh yeah. Winter break!” She says happily.

Then goes back to talking his ears off.

WILL’S POV-

Me and El walk into the coffee shop as I sigh in relief as the warm
air hits me.

El notices me sigh.

“You were that cold?” El says as she giggles slightly and takes her
hood off.

“Uh- Yeah! It's freezing” I say quietly while he gets in line
behind some girls.

El chuckles at my response and stands besides me in line.

After a bit those girls leaves out the coffee shop, I can hear them giggling and I can hear the bell from the door while they go out.

Me and El walk up the the counter and i meet eyes with this Black haired boy. I swear my heart stopped. Then the boy speaks up.

-BACK TO 3RD PERSON POV-

"What do you guys want?" He says softly with a warm smile.

El starts to talk "Can I have a hot coffee please?" She says.

The boy on the other side of the counter nods while he looks at El then his eyes travel to Will.

"And for you?" He says softer then before.

Will blushes faintly then starts to say what he wants "Oh- uh can I have a Carmel coffee.. please?" He says gently as he smiles a bit.

"Names for the order?" He says.

"Oh Will and El.." He says quietly.

The boys nods and smirks softly then turns around to make the coffee.

But before the boy turned around Will read his name tag.

"Micheal" it read.

Will loved his name and he was so pretty but he knew he had to stop gushing over a boy he had no chance with.

Then El drags him over to some chairs and sits down.

Will sits next to her.

El starts to chat away again but Will can't stop taking little peeks at Mike.

Then after a couple minutes Will can hear Mike's voice call their Names.

"El and Will!" He yelps as he places their coffees on the counter.

El gets up and Will follows behind her.

"That will be $6.46" Mike says.

El grabs the coffee then Will grabs a $10 bill put of his pocket and hands it out to Mike.

"Thank you" Will says softly.

"Of course" He says gently as he takes the bill gently then he goes into the cashier to get him change.

Then Will puts his hand on top of his.

Mike looks up at him with a blush creeping onto his face.

"Keep the change" Will finally says softly as he takes his hand on his quickly.

Mike nods and he smiles.

"Oh- T-thanks" He says with a smile.

Mike snaps out of his trance of staring at Will then Starightens his shirt while he looks down then back at the two.

"Well have a nice day you two!" He says nicely with a bright smiles.

El and Will nods and smile then start to walk out.

Will was absolutely screaming inside.

Then El points out something on his cup.

"Will? There's something more then your name on your cup.." She says quickly as she pokes his cup.

Will's eyebrows furrow and he lifts his cup to his face level then he sees a phone number and a tiny heart next to it.

Will's face turns red.

El giggles.

"Oh my god" She mumbles as she starts to walk faster.

"Shut up!" Will says in a embarrassed tone as he giggles and slaps her shoulder gently.
