Merman! Spain X Reader

You got out of your car and grabbed your large (f/c) swim bag and headed towards the beach. You were wearing a (f/c) see through dress and had sunglasses on top of your head. You (h/c) hair swaying with the wind. School had just gotten out so you decided you would go to the beach to celebrate. You dropped your bag, cover up and shoes on the sand and took off towards the ocean. You sat down on the wet sand and watched the water crawl up to your feet that were planted in the sand.

You giggled and stood up, you moved to the side of the beach where there was lots of rocks and boulder. You started climbing them, it didn't take long until you were at the top of the cliff. You grinned and looked down at water gently hitting the rocks below, but the water was still calm. You had gone to this spot since you were a child, you knew every part of this area and just how deep the water was. It wasn't too deep but it wasn't too shallow that if you jumped, you would break your legs.

You pulled your hair out of your face, since the wind blew it in front of you, and you jumped into the blue water below you. You swam to the top and brushed back your hair. You smiled and started swimming to a secret cove that only you knew. Soon, you reached land and you climbed out. You wrung out your hair and trotted into the cove that was a few feet in front of you and stared at an aqua blue moon pool. You raised your eyebrow. "Hmm, that's new. That certainly wasn't there last time I was here."you shrugged it off and sat on a rock, facing the new pool of water. You decided the use the moon pool and climbed into the circular pond of water.

You relaxed in the warm water and closed your eyes. Suddenly, the water started to move and your eyes whipped opened. You soon saw a person with chocolate brown hair and green eyes. "Oh. Hola, chica. How are you?"he asked as he swam close to you. You pushed yourself against the wall to be as far away from the stranger as possible. You soon noticed he had a long orange scaly tail where his legs should be.

You jumped out of the water and sat on the rocks along the cove walls. He now got a good looked at you. "Holy tomatoes! You sure are beautiful!"he chuckled, slight pink dusting his tan cheeks.
"Who-what!"you couldn't even say full sentences at the moment. "Who are you? What are you?"you looked at him.
"My name is Antonio Hernandez Carriedo. I am a merman."he grinned a bright smile. You laughed awkwardly.
"Yeah, right. You're probably just some kind of mermaiding person. You're not a real merman."he raised an eyebrow at you and scratched his head befuddlely.
"I'm not sure what mermaiding is, but I'm a real merman."He said. You scoffed. "Come here."he said.
"Why?"you asked sternly.
"I want you to feel my tail to see if I'm real or not."you sighed and walked over to the pool again.

He floated on his back and swished his tail a bit, the fluke slapping the water more harder than intended and it slightly splashed you. He chuckled and quickly apologized. You smiled softly and blushed as he complimented your smile and how white and straight your teeth were. You smiled wider and got on your knees, close to his body. You slowly reached out to touch his tail and gasped as it twitched. What made you gasp wasn't the twitching, well maybe a bit, but the scales felt like how the fish you'd catch with your father did.
"You. . . You really are a. . . a merman."you gulped out.
"I sure am, would you like to go for a swim with me?"he asked. You dumbfoundedly nodded. He grinned. "Alright, meet me outside the cove and you can climb on my back."you nodded slowly again and did as he commanded as he sunk down from where he arrived from.

When you were outside a thought occurred to you. "Ready to go, chica?"a Spanish accented voice brought you out of your thoughts.
"Antonio-"
"Please, call me Toni."
"Okay, Toni, why should I trust you? You could only be playing nice and try to drown and eat me."he chuckled awkwardly at your comment.
"Well, I don't eat meat, well not usually. I came from a river in Spain and I fed off fruits from there so I'd much rather prefer fruit and vegetables."You nibbled on the inside of your cheek absentmindedly.
"Why should I believe you?"you crossed your arms. He floated on his stomach and bared his teeth.

They were flat with some slightly pointed teeth. "Yeah, that's gonna do it."you sat on the edge of the land and climbed onto his back. He chuckled at your comment.
"Hold on tight."you nodded and gripped his shoulders, fingers digging into some scales he had there. "Take a deep breath and hold it."you nodded and did as he said. He leaped into the air and dove into the water.

You saw beautiful fish and sea creatures as you moved along. He swam closer to the top and you saw a dolphin swimming by you. Toni swam faster and the dolphin sped up too, it seemed like they were having a race. You felt yourself running out of air, as if he read your mind, Toni sped towards the top and flew into the air, you opened your mouth and quickly took lots of air before he dove back down.

The dolphin was still following you, in fact, he was right next to you. You reached your hand out and patted his head. Toni swam to the surface and as expected, the dolphin followed. Toni sighed and ran a hand through his thick, soft hair. The dolphin sprayed water at you and you giggled and patted it's nose. He clicked at you.
"Good boy."said Toni.
"You know him?"
"Yes. This is my pet, Allegre. I had him since he was a calf. He's now four and apparently his mother and pod left him. But now he's with me and we travel the ocean's together."
"Oh,"you patted Allegre's head and he lifted his head up, cueing for more pets. "Why are you here?"you asked.
"We were just passing through. We were meaning to go the the Atlantic ocean. He wants to meet other dolphins."you nodded then looked around, there was no land in sight.
"Um, Toni..."
"Hmm."he looked back at you.
"How am I going to get back home?"you asked.
"We'll swim."he said cheerfully.
"We?"all of a sudden Toni threw you off his back and since you were surprised, you didn't have a chance to swim to the surface. You started drifting to the bottom. Toni swam at you and grabbed your face, kissing your lips passionately.

Your eyes widened and you blushed. He forcefully pushed his tongue in your mouth and suddenly you could breath. He grabbed your head and pulled you to the surface.
"That was the kiss of breath. We can now swim underwater to your home. You will breath only air when we make it to the beach again."
You nodded and you dove down, including Allegre.

This was going to be a very long trip, a very long trip, indeed.

Scotland X Reader but lately, I've been dealing with a lot of stress and now I've been on a real mermaid kick lately so this was created. Sorry, I'll try to update my other works as soon as possible, I just need inspiration. Anyway, that's about it. Hope you enjoyed my story, as shitty as it was, but I made this at 3:00 AM, so cut me a bit of slack, well, see ya.)
