Giyuu angst

A day after he left Sanemi was presumed dead. Giyuu found out due to his crow telling him. Apparently, instead of fighting a lowermoon like Sanemi expected, he instead faced one of the strongest demons alive, upper two and was killed after suffering immensely.

When Giyuu heard of this his heart shattered into many pieces which would most likely never be put back together unless Sanemi was to show up right in front of him and tell him it was all a simple prank.

                                                                           It was not a prank.

Giyuu learnt of this after around 2 days of locking himself in his room hoping Sanemi would come back somehow.The problem esculated so badly that even Mitsuri herself came to check on him.Although this would usually make someone whos been locked in their room for two days happy yet this only made Giyuu even more disappointed in himself.He just had to worry others and be a burden to them didnt he?

"Mitsuri I assure you i'm fine,"Giyuu reasured the sakura mochi hair coloured girl as he desperately attempted to fake a smile to fool her.

"Are you sure your ok?The bags under your eyes tell me otherwise,"Mitsuri painfully pointed out, accidentally stabbing a hole in Giyuu's pride as he believed he was quite talented in hiding his obvious lack of sleep.Although it was quite the opposite,the man looked like he hadnt gotten sleep in three weeks.

"Of course.Its just been,"Giyuu took a short breath in between the sentence to maintain his composure and not completely break down to the one person he's seen in days,"Quite the hectic week even though its only Wednesday,"

"Okay well, I'll believe you since your not the type to lie to me.But just know I'm also here if you need someone to talk to, dont forget that okay?"Mitsuri yet again jabbed at his coincidentally by accident.

"I will,I will don't worry,"Giyuu attempted to reasure her like he did at the beginning of the conversation.

"Bye Giyuu,see you at the next hashira meeting in around a month,"she beamed at him as she began to walk out of his view and into the direction of where her next mission was at.

Wow, good job,you just had to make even her,one of the kindest people you have ever met, worry about you and your none existent burdens.She didnt seem that affected by Sanemi's death so why are you.Giyuu thought in dismay to himself as he got ready and headed outside

Just because his lover had died no less than two days ago did not mean he got a break or anything.Hell, they wouldnt care if all the hashira just died,he would still have to go to work. After all, demons dont wait until your done greivieng. They will attack any chance they recieve as they are eager to feast on human's delicous flesh.

He had heard that his next mission actually took place in Mount Sagari where his former mentor, Urokodaki, lived. Although it wasnt in his exact house, it was still nearby. His task was to help the neighboring village defeat the demons and set up wisteria around the area to make sure it remains safe even when he wasn't there.
