"Earth to Sapphire Lorraine Williams! Hello!!! Are you still there?"
Words that bring back Sapphire's mind into reality.
"Mikaela Anne Collins? Did your parents ever tell you that its wrong to yell at someone especially when she's just right beside you?" she utter.
"Actually they did, but I guess talking to you in a proper way won't make any sense coz you are dreaming!" Mikaela answered.
"I am not!" Sapphire shoot her with a death glare.
"Common Sapp, are you jealous?"
"What?"
"You seems so upset honey!"
"Shut up Kaila! Stop bothering me if you don't want to experience my right hook." and she glare at her again.
"As you wish princess." with a smirk on her face.
Mikaela can't help but grin with her bestfriend's reaction. She understand why Sapphire's mood is at it's critical level.
Awhile ago as she was walking to their classroom, she noticed that Sapphire was looking at someone outside, one of their closest friend also, Nicholo Lewis. The three of them are really good friends as long as they can remember. As what Nicholo always said; We're friends since the day we're born.
They go to same school from Kindergarten up now that they're on their senior year in highschool. From the very start she knows that Sapphire has a special feelings for Nicholo and she's also aware that Nicholo felt the same. But its their friendship that matters. Its like a movie and Mikaela is confident enough that her friends lovestory has a happy ending.
"Hey! Did I just hear you two arguing?" Nicholo came rushing.
"Whats the matter girlfriends?"
"Oh! Nothing serious Nicholo we're good." Mikaela said while trying to hold back her laughter.
"You sure?"
"Yup! Dont worry we're good in here." finally Sapphire find her voice to speak.
Though he doubt if they're telling the truth he just simple ignore it.
"So, since you're good I gotta be going. I left Patricia there when I hear you." Nicholo replied.
With that Sapphire's face turn sour which instantly caught by Mikaela's eyes.
"Yah sure Nick! Enjoy your moment with Tricia!" grinning Mikaela answered.
Nicholo wink at her, "I will Kaila! Catch yah later girls." And he run back to where Patricia is.
Sapphire can't take it anymore. She turn her back from Mikaela and let her tears roll down her cheeks.
"How insensitive are you to not know that I LOVE YOU Nicholo!"
She really can't understand why Nicholo have to find another girl when all this time she's right beside him.
"I love you Sapp!" Nicholo once said to her.
"What? You love me?"
"Of course I love you and Kaila." he answered."You know, we're friends since grade school so you are like sisters to me." smiling at her showing his straight pearly white teeth.
"I knew it!" she answered faking a smile.
That memory always came flashing through her mind.
"If you only know!" she thought.

On their way back home, Sapphire is so silent. She is sitting at the passengers seat of Nicholo's car where Mikaela is right beside her while Nicholo and Patricia at the front. Its painful for her hearing their happy conversation, so she put her headphones and turn the volume of her phone to the highest level.
◆◇ I've known you for so long you are a friend of mine and babe is this all we ever be? ◆◇
"Yes, this is all we ever could be.... friends!" And without her permission her tears started to flow.
"Hey Sapp? Are you okay? Why are you crying?" Kaila worriedly ask her.
But before she could answer Nicholo stop the car and turn to her ; "Its okay Sapp you can tell us what's bothering you." he said with so much compassion in his voice.
"Look, just don't freaking mind me. I'm more than okay!" she said trying not to sound rude and look away from Nicholo.
"Sapp you can't be serious, I know you so well I know you're not okay! Now tell us why." Nicholo insisted.
"Nick is right, you can't cry without a reason!" Kaila added.
"Will you please LEAVE ME ALONE? I TOLD YOU I'M OKAY. Was it hard to understand?" she's starting to get mad.
"Guy's I think you should do as what she said before she make a scene here." it was Patricia sounding annoyed.
For the first time in her life, she become thankful of her presense.
"Okay! We'll talk to you later if you calm down." Nicholo said and start the engine again.
But that didn't happened, just when Nicholo stop his car in front of her house to drop her off, Sapphire quickly grab her stuffs and walkout not minding Mikaela who's calling her. Luckily, Patricia is no longer there to witness her drama.
She went in to her house straight to her room where she let go her tears once again.
Fifteen minutes later:

Its her phone ringing.
"Who could this be?" she asked herself.
On her phone screen:
Bff Nicholo calling ......
