You know we're not supposed to meet, Rina." Winter took Karina's hand, looking deeply into her dark doe eyes. "Our wedding is tomorrow, Baby," she whispered sweetly.

"Who says I'm marrying you!!" Karina yelled, startling Winter. Her face fell flat, and shock filled her eyes. Karina placed her hand on Winter's hold.

"What are you talking about?" Winter's voice cracks, not leaving the tall girl's eyes. Sadness grows in the tall girl's eyes, teeth beaming, preventing tears from falling as she catches her breath.

Her sluggish turn back has a significant impact on Winter's heart; it seems like it shutters a million times, her heart misses a beat, her legs weaken, and all she can do is scream...

Slaps.

Slaps.

Fuck! Winter, stop zoning." A hefty palm caressed her cheeks lightly, bringing her back to reality.

"Where are we, fucker?" Winter asked the younger woman, who had her hair tucked beyond her ears.

It's been years, yet the memories are still vivid, those horrible memories that haunt me even when I sleep.

"Are you for real?" The Chinese girl looks at her with an unbelievable expression. "We're late now. "Our new professor must be angry."

We're running out of time, so we regain our breath while leaning on the frame of our classroom door.

"On time 7:59 Ms." I triumphantly strode into the classroom. My eyes rested on the girl I was not intended to see. My heart races a beat and her eyes scream emotions.

Never thought of any. I force myself to sit in my proper chair. I can feel her gaze on me.

"Please, kindly introduce yourself," said a sweet that I despise the most. "You already know me"

"Excuse me??!" I stare at her blankly.

"I mean, you can see my name on your attendance." I stood up, resisting the urge to attend this class, which was formerly my favourite. Before I leave the room, a warm palm touches my arm.

Our eyes engaged. Her gaze was met with hatred-filled eyes. I claimed my arm against her shaking hand and made my way out of the room.

"I'm dropping your class, don't worry," I heard a sigh, leaving her behind.
