12:31 P.M.

The waters...

They reek of blood...

You walked along the glimmering carpet of the underwater church. A small sigh of frustration left your mouth. You hoped it was some sort of fish that died and not... Something else.

This was your underwater establishment. These were your people. They were unique from those who lived in towns and cities above the water. They had fins, tails, and ears, but they still had legs and the ability to breathe outside the everlasting seas.

Sylvians are their true name. There are different types of Sylvians, they all also have their leaders. You were a Shark Sylvian. Fangs, a tail and fortunately, normal ears.

You could see your mother give you a small smile from the front row. Was she not smelling the metallic sent?

As your right heel firmly stepped onto the small stage, a confidence burst through your head. This was your coronation, You were going to be leader. Nobody should take this moment away from you. This was your day.

"Majesty Y/N!-" Someone swished open the door, urging you to look behind you. A bang rippled through the waters. He caught his breath. "There are Gardes scouting throughout the village, they took bystanders!"

You swirled around to face the worried male, who clenched his side. Blood.

The humans shouldn't know about you and your Sylvians. You placed your hand ontop of the other.

Two citizens worriedly ran to the civilian and caught him as he passed out. You could see the people inside the church get panicked, but they didn't know if they should get up.

"This coronation is dismissed. Everyone, hide." Your mother rose and yelled. The people got up, stressed and fearful.

They all hurried out the front door as you took the safer route to the back door.

Why were the Gardes here? Why were they attacking a civilization that did nothing wrong? They shouldn't know about us!

Tears seeped out of your eyes but vanished into the sea. You scanned the area for a hiding spot and found an empty barrel. Stress swarmed over you as you made sure nobody saw you.

Being the best option by far, you slid inside it and prayed to the Archons that this could just be over.

You took deep breaths and calmed your emotions down. You heard one of the Gardes yell, "Was that all of them?"

Your eyes widened slightly. You almost yelled out but you forced yourself shut by placing your hand on your mouth. "We looked through all of the houses and the palace, Milord."

"Good. Then we should get going... Hurry up!"

Shit... Shit! SHIT!

You hurried out and swam around for a moment. You looked around but there were no sight of the enemies, yet no sights of the Sylvians.

You cried out, "Hello!?" You swam about, looking through the houses. Everything was a mess.

It took a good 20-minutes to get to the palace. You entered your home with teary eyes, though the tears were easily mistaken for normal water.

"Mother?" You rushed to the throne room, Nothing. Then to the bedrooms, still nothing.

Were you... Alone?...

You sucked in a sharp, pained breath then exhaled a quick hiss. This loop continued as you stared at your bedroom.

You couldn't take this agony. Before you knew it, you slid off your heels, getting ready to swim somewhere far; to go beyond the waters.
