I've been with my boyfriend Jack for about a year and a half and has been amazing he's the best boyfriend ever except lately he's been acting a little weird always saying practice ran late or saying he was out with the guys when I would ask the guys they said they hadn't seen him so I started to assume the worst

Jack walked in the door
"Honey I'm home"
He smiled as he came and sat by me on the couch
"I'm sorry practice ran late I missed you"
Mhm.
"Missed you too"
He went to kiss me put i pulled away
"Is everything ok with you" he asked
"Yup but I think I'm gonna go for a drive"
"Can I come with"
"No I just want time to myself"
He looked at me with sadness in his eyes
"Ok baby I'll be her waiting for you"
I went for a drive for about 30 mins I cried the whole time
I walked in the house me and jack shared and he was asleep on the couch so I went up to our bedroom and went into the bathroom to shower
When I got out I smelled something I walked into the kitchen and seen jack cooking making my favorite meal I couldn't help but smile
" thought I could make dinner since I felt bad for practice running late "
"Oh thanks"
We sat down and ate dinner together and then I went to bed
A couple days later and jack wasn't acting weird anymore I was so confused about it so I decided I would ask him about it when he got home
I heard the door open
"Hey baby I'm home"
He said walking into the kitchen
"Hey jack I have a question"
"Ok what is it"
"Are you cheating on me"
He looked at me confused
"What no im not cheating on you why would you think that"
"Because all the sudden practice was always running late or you were always going out with the boys but then when I would call one of them you weren't with them"
"No baby I promise I'm not cheating on you"
"Then what's going on"
He signed as he reached into his bag
"I wanted to wait and make it special but since you are difficult I'll do it here"
He got down on one knee
"Callie Ann willden you are the love of my life and I wanna spend the rest of my life with you will you marry me"
My mouth opened in shock
"Omg yes"
He puts the ring on me and kisses me
"I had been picking out you ring that's why practice ran late or I was with the boys"
"Omg jack I'm so sorry for accusing you of cheating"
"It's fine baby I get how that would be suspicious"
After that we went and sat on the couch and watched movies and I decided to make a insta post
