Chapter 1 Stairs leading to nowhere part 1/3
Midas POV
My names Midas, I'm from Romania. Midas is an Egypt name which means "God" in English. Now don't think I'll go to heaven because I seriously have sinned my entire life!- I was Born and Raised in Romania with an single mom and my little brother Berthold. I am 15 years old, and Berthold is 12. So not really a age gap huh... Now I know what you're wondering, "How have you sinned your entire life, Midas...?!" well... You see... OK NOT LITERALLY MY ENTIRE LIFE but you get the point. What I'm trying to say that I have done an unforgivable Sin. "What's the sin Midas? Get to the point already!" you are probably wondering. Well... You see when I was about the age 10 and I was in grade 3,I had a bestfriend. Let's call em Matthew. Matthew was a year older then me, 11. And Matthew and I had been friends since kindergarten. Tho I was never a social person, I had trusted Matthew. And bcuz I was soft hearted, people often took advantage of it. And I had never really Doubted that Matthew would leave me, plus he wouldn't hurt me.. Right? Well 'surprise motherf- . He did. Still in 3rd grade, my class was going on a field trip. Like usual I sat on the bus and was knowing that Matthew would sit next to me cuz like.. He always did. But this time he sat next to this dude which let's call em 'Shit-Face❤️' . Shit-Face was ur typical 'bully. I was a little surprised to Matthew sitting next to Shit-Face which I started to overthink. Hours later of riding on the bus, we arrived at our destination. As everyone was getting off the bus and standing in a line, I could hear Matthew and Shit-Face snickering and talking behind me. Which made me turn around was Shit-Face saying "Yo dude, Are you really friends with 'Mr.softie?" and which in Matthew replied "Shhh!! He can hear us..!" they snickered and I turned around with tears in my eyes. Matthew And Shit-Face Frozen in their place. I was so angry that Rage flew thru my blood and before I could even think, I grabbed an iron broken short pole off the ground (We we're in an forest man😭) and I swung with at Matthew. Matthew head literally fuckin ripped off His neck and blood shattered everywhere! Screams and cries of horror in the background. "Dude ok! We get the point!". Ok ok... U get it now. So yeah, that's my deadly sin😔I know not really deadly but u get the point. So yh.. I'm pretty sure I'll go to hell- . But for now, I'll js Enjoy life man! I've always wondered, what does the stairs leading to nowhere actually lead u too...? Oh well, I'll find out when I die! (Which I hope I don't omg pls nooo😭)
