Lost. That's the first thing Alucard became aware of. Where was he? Wherever he looked, there was nothing but a void of nothingness.
"Hello?" "Sypha?"Anyone there?"
No answer. Alucard looked around confused. He had no trouble seeing in the dark, but there truly was nothing there to focus on.
Frustrated, he started walking forward. His surroundings remained all the same, and Alucard couldn't tell if he was actually moving anywhere at all.
He slipped a frustraded grunt - "What is this?" He started to think what else he could do to find his way out of this odd prison. Alucard looked around for any clues that could provide him with his way out, but a sudden sound made him stop dead in his tracks. Fear was slowly creeping up his spine as his mind identified the cause. A paralyzing feeling, so unfamiliar, so rare, overwhelmed him.
He knew that sound.
Alucard felt panicked. Somehow, he couldn't bring his lungs to find enough air. It came from behind him. He needed to turn around, to face it, to face him. But could he?
Another sound, this time louder, closer. The force behind it echoed. It made Alucard flinch, frozen in place."Turn around Vampire!"
Alucards heart felt heavy in its place. It's an odd thing to experience this kind of thing. This type of mind crushing feeling, his instincts battling each other for dominance. To run like pray running from its predator? Or attack and kill? To drain him dry? His mind raced from one thought to the next, paralyzing him.
Trevor's voice felt like a dagger slowly stabbing his heart, pushing his mind to its limit."I SAID, TURN. AROUND!"
Alucard choked out a breath. His lungs were on fire and filled with water. He didn't want to move. If he did, he would surley regret it. But staying still would surley do the same. He had to act quickly. He knew that his survival was depending on this. Slowly, after what felt like an eternity, Alucard turned around. His body trembled in place, eyes glued on the ground. It took everything in him to not double over and heave.
"What is happening?"he muttered under his breath."Look at me,"
Alucard couldn't. Refusing was all he could do. Whatever power Trevor had over him, he would not let this go without a fight.
This time, Alucard immediately picked up on it. The sound of his arm rising, chains radelling, and a harsh strike against the ground before him. Despite himself, Alucards eyes shifted up in panick, staring right into those cold blue steel eyes. As he met his eyes the all surrounding darkness changed. Big trees grew around him, and the ground beneath turned muddy. He knew this place. And Alucard knew exactly what would follow.
His mind went numb. Just like that night, it felt as if time had stopped.
Was he hit? Is he bleeding, dying? Is he going into shock?
Trevor grinned menacingly. There was nothing but hatred in his eyes, all of it aimed at Alucard.
Still unable to move, Alucard was yet again at the mercy of the hunter. At least he could breathe again now, not that Alucard ever truly needed it. After all, he did not have a heartbeat. Alucard supposed his desperation for air was fear induced then. He tried desperately to mask his fear from his eyes, but Trevor knew the truth. Both his mind and body were not cooperating with him. Trevor probably felt it too. Not only did that enfuriate Alucard, but it made him all the more terrified.
"You should be relieved, Y'know, after all, I'm doing you a favor, this time you will know how much it's going to hurt,"
he paused and smiled condescendingly, "Send dear old daddy my regards."Trevor sprinted forward, the trees dissappeard, and in what felt like a blink of an eye, Alucard thudded to the ground hard, Trevor's weight near crushing him from above.
Powerless. That's what it felt like. That's what he was.
Rough hands wrapped around Alucards throat and pressed hard. Alucard choked, panick engulfed him. He desperately tried to remember that he didn't need to breathe, but somehow he kept forgetting. He tried urgently to move, to lift a hand but to no avail. Alucard stood no chance against him.
Crimson tears spilled out of his golden eyes, dropping on Trevor's hands, staining Alucards blonde hair.
Alucard felt like he was dying, again.
Trevor chuckled in delight, "Did you actually think I cared about you?"Look at you, nothing but a blood filled monster!"
Trevor pressed harder against his throat, causing Alucard to violently trash in his grasp.....
Trevor kept drifting in and out of sleep. Something kept pulling him out of his blissful subconscious, but his mind was too infused with sleep to comprehend what the sound was.
A sudden cry jostled Trevor wide awake.
An attack? Is someone hurt? Is it Sypha? Trevor quickly rose from the floor and scanned the room. No one's there.
Trevor walked over to the bed. As he got closer and gazed at Sypha, she was calm, peacefully asleep. Relieved, he looked around and saw Alucards back facing him. Maybe he had imagined it.Alucard stirred a little in his chair. Trevor gulped. The last thing he needed was for Alucards wrath to wake up. Trevor took a deep breath and stretched, regretting sleeping on the floor as his joints ached and popped. As he prepared to go back to sleep, small near inaudible whimpers were heard from Alucards side of the room, and Trevor instantly knew those were real. He had not imagined it. Something was wrong.
He slowly stalked over towards Alucard, careful not to startle him. As he came closer, he noticed that his body was trembling, more fiercely by the minute too, it seemed. Shocked and concerned, Trevor quickly reached out to Alucard and shook his shoulder. Maybe he was sick, Trevor thought."Alucard? Oi, Wake up!"
No response. He gently stroked his blonde hair away from his face. Why does he have so much hair, Trevor thought. When Alucards' face finally emerged, Trevor's heart dropped.
Wet tears streaked his pale cheeks, his eyes were puffy, and his lips were muttering nonsense. His breathing seemed strained and labeled, too. Alucard was clearly distressed, probably in a deep nightmare.
Trevor took a deep breath and tried hard to speak as softly as possible.
"Alucard? Wake up, you're safe. "
It felt wrong for Trevor to say such a thing after what happened between them, but seeing Alucard like this, he knew that he would do anything to make sure he's safe. To protect him at all costs.
Alucard wouldn't budge. He kept crying, and somehow, he started struggle for air, like he's choking.
Trevor was confused. He was sure that Alucard didn't breathe or at least not enough to notice.
Sypha, as deep as a sleeper as she is, also started to come to due to Trevor making noise.
Trevor shook Alucard more roughly now. Why was he not waking up."Alucard!, wake the fuck up!"
Sypha groaned, "What's with all the noise Trevor?"
Trevor had no time to react. One second he was looking at Sypha for help, next thing he knew, Alucard had pinned him down with his teeth buried in his neck.
