But today, I didn't feel the need to rely on Charlie's kindness. I had just proven myself to be capable of standing up for myself and others, and I wanted to continue that streak of independence.

"Lloyd, let's grab lunch together," I suggested, a newfound confidence in my voice.

Lloyd raised an eyebrow, surprised by my proposal. "Are you sure? I mean, I don't mind, but I thought you usually had your own way of getting food."

I smiled, shaking my head. "Today, I want to do things differently. I want to show everyone, including myself, that I can take care of myself."

Lloyd grinned, clearly impressed by my determination. "Alright then, lead the way, Y/n. Let's see what you've got."

With a spring in my step, I guided Lloyd towards the cafeteria. As we entered, I noticed the curious glances from my classmates. It seemed word had spread about the incident earlier, and people were starting to see me in a new light.

Ignoring the whispers and stares, I confidently walked up to the lunch line. I grabbed a tray and started selecting my food, feeling a sense of empowerment with each choice I made. I didn't need to rely on anyone else to take care of me.

Lloyd followed suit, grabbing his own tray and joining me in line. But so did a couple of other people a few guys and one girl. "You know, Y/n, I'm really proud of you. It takes guts to break away from your usual routine and assert yourself like this," Lloyd spoke.

I smiled gratefully at Lloyd, appreciating his support. "Thanks, Lloyd. I couldn't have done it without you. You've been a great friend."

Lloyd dragged me to sitting with his friends Zane, Jay, Cole, Kai, and Nya. So that's what we did however I didn't realize that Charlie has been trying to call me and stuff.
