Taehyung's POV

Midnight at Taehyung's apartment

My eyes flew open as I hear this strange knock at the front door, all the way from my bedroom.

It was in the wee hours of Christmas morning, and just like every other year, I was in bed, enjoying my sleep.

'Why did I have to be such a light sleeper?' I complained, hoping the knocking would stop.

My eye's fluttered open when I heard the incessant knocking on my front door.

Who that be at this odd hour? I think to myself as I checked the time on my cellphone on my way out the room. But the knocking, to my chagrin, had continued.

Just as I got to the front door, it started again.

The Christmas wreath hanging on the door shook with each violent knock.

'It was midnight for goodness sakes. Did this person not have any good sense?'

It just seemed so odd to have someone knock at my front door so rhythmically, at twelve o'clock in the bloody morning.

It couldn't be the milkman, nor the postman. And it definitely wouldn't be my parents, nor my landlady.
