‐--------you guys, please dont hate on this. I really like this idea. Also, I'm making Tanjiro not know, basically anything. I mean, if you were locked in a cage for 12 years, you wouldn't know anything either. So yeah, also, there might be some switching POVS, but for now, I'm just doing Tanjiros POV. Please read the description. If you don't want to be confused, please enjoy!----

I have been here for.. I don't even know anymore. The draftiness of my cage has made it harder to breathe. I feel like I'm panting constantly for fresh air, or maybe from the bitter air surrounding me. The window above me wasn't giving me warmth, I don't know what it was called that made me feel so good, but I didn't like that it was gone. I felt more alone and colder when it got dark, I craved the brightness of that glowing orb that cast its golden arms around me, hugging me in a comforting way . I sighed, looking up at the silvery shine. This shine was different than the golden one that came around. But I guess this was alright. I still don't know why this light had to come with so much darkness and biting air, though. I crawled over to a wooden post.  That kept me from leaving here, like an angry dog, locked away from judging eyes. My soft hands caressed the side of it, where I had started making marks with my..hands. I believe they are called. I don't know. Sometimes, when people come and talk and talk, they use their fingers to serve me all this disgusting, smelly stuff. They haven't come for a couple of warm air and bright.. I dont know what to call them, which I was grateful for. My stomach hadn't started doing that, rumbling noise that kept me up at dark for a long time, so I guess I was getting used to it. I crawled to a corner and stared up at the glowing dots in the dark ink. I have always wondered why they visited me each night and what they were called, but I guess I will never know. The next time it got warm, my eyes opened, but there was something... off, the usually warm and bright orb was there, but it was colder. The shiver of bitterness was still present in my spine. It's almost like something was going to happen soon. And soon did come. The next thing I knew, someone was at the edge
of my cage. She looked at me, and her blue eyes reminded me of the brightness above. She slowly crept towards me, like I was some wild animal that was too dangerous to be given freedom. I shivered again, I didn't know what was going on, but something was very wrong, and I could tell. She pulled some sort of...string looking stuff from behind her, I looked at her, curiosity burning my soul as she crept towards me again, those bright eyes becoming more shimmery the closer she got. I didn't know what to do,so when she started wrapping my hands and legs, immobolizing me, I stood there, unfazed and simply confused. She wrapped my hands and legs, and the thick material rubbed against my supple skin, making deep burns that sent a stinging up my arms and down my spine. After she was done, she stood in front of me and tapped her foot against the cold floor beneath her. She stood, focused on my eyes, like a mountain lion going in for the kill. But that didn't last long before she harshly grabbed my hands and shoved me to the floor. Unable to protect myself, my limp body hit the floor with a small thud. I felt her foot against my back as she leaned in close. Her breath was warm like that comforting glow. I don't know what she said, but I could tell it wasn't good at all......

Yippeee!!! I'm done with this part🩷 hope you guys enjoy!
