CHRISTMAS HAS PAST and so has New Year's. These past few months have been going by fast. It's the week after New Year's, the volleyball coaches have coordinated a dinner for the players including us.
Which leads us to where we are now. Of course, our parents aren't home for whatever work reason. Mar and I had walked Nala this morning which was a really short walk since she kept getting scared by the cars. Mar had to pick her up when we walked home cause baby Nala was not having it. Anyway, after tending to our pets we got a text in the group chat from Daichi saying the dinner is at 7 tonight in Tokyo meaning we needed to be at the gym around 4:45.
So here Mar and I were trying on possible dresses for dinner. It was 1:20 but we were in a slight rush since we both had to do our hair and makeup.
"What about this?" My sister asked showing off the whiteish-cream dress she had on. She looked cute in it and fit her perfectly. "It's a yes from me" I nodded
"Bet" She agreed taking a look at herself in the mirror, "your turn Sasha"
We decided it would be cute if we did a lil yin and yang moment. I pulled out one of our many black dresses we owned to try on. It was a long-sleeved black dress that stopped at my ankles— basically a skims dupe.
"I like it," Mar said as I looked at myself in the mirror. "Me too" I agreed, "well the hardest part is done"
"You just gonna wear some black heels?" My sister asked walking into the bathroom. "Yeah it doesn't really matter" I replied before she shut the door to take s shower.
While she did that I took off my dress and put on my robe. I decided it would save us time if she took a shower in our bathroom and I took a shower in our parents' bathroom. I had to walk through the living room to get to our parents' room. As I walked into the living room Nala got up from her dog bed to follow me.
"Hi baby" I cooed whilst picking her up and taking her with me to my parents' room
As soon as I walked in I got flashbacks from the party. "I was a mess" I mumbled shaking my head
I put Nala down leaving the bathroom door open so she could come in. Turning on the shower I slipped off my robe before stepping into the shower. Thankfully it wasn't an everything shower so all I needed to do was wash my body and hair.
Showering in my parents' bathroom was always an experience since my mom had a mini bath & body works in here. I chose one of the many soaps then did my usual routine. Around 20 minutes later I finished and dried off before putting on lotion and the dress I'm wearing tonight. Nala laid on the bathroom rug contently taking a nap as I used my mom's expensive perfume. She's never here so why let it go to waste?
