Kai's POV

"Suhnnie! We're late. Free period ended 13 minites ago!" I say worried.

She quickly got up. I took her hand and started running. I started to think what my excuse would be. Oh we were just you know at the pond about to kiss. Of course not! We made our way back to school.

Suhnnie's POV

Omg we were late for dance/drama. We finally made it to the school. I looked at Kai and asked, "How late are we?"

"19 minutes late." He replied

We walked to the classroom. I nervously brung my hand to the door knob.

When I opened the door all eyes were automatically on us.

I heard the girls whispering but I couldn't make out what they were saying.

"Suhnnie! Kai! Explain to me why you guys are late" the drama teacher said.

"Oh about that... I was supposed to give Kai a tour of well the school since he's new and once I was done free period was already over....." I said twiddling with my fingers.

"Alright I can accept that." The drama teacher said. We both walked to our seats. I dont sit next to Kai in Drama/Dance. I sit in the corner while he sits in the other opposite corner surrounded by girls. He seemed to ignore them.

Which suprised me because they were all pretty. Yet he chooses to talk to me.

How I mean I'm all blah and they're all ooooooohh.

Time passed and it was finally time to go home.

I was walking home when I heard a voice.

"Stay away from Kai!" A girls voice shouted.

I turned around and saw her,my enemy since middle school. It was Aurora.

"Why should I?" I say harshly.

I'm serious does she really think we have a thing? I mean we're just friends.

"Oooh now you're gonna get it now."She says back threatening.

She picks me up grabbing the collar of my shirt. I was suddenly surrounded by her drones.

She threw me on the ground. With all her strength she kicked my stomach making me groan in pain.

I could here the others laughing and pointing.

"Fatty,worthless,dumb,you're just another cry-baby." Aurora said while hitting me.

She gathered all her strength again.

I was ready for another hit but,nothing, I got confused and looked up.

It was Kai. Right there holding her wrists.

"Leave Suhnnie alone! What did she do to deserve this?" He questioned.

She just stood there as if she was in shock.

"It's ok Kai.I'm gonna go home now." I say.

"Wait! I'll come with you."he says. Leaving Aurora.

I tried to hide the fact that I was limping so he would leave. But he didn't.

I had cuts and bruises all over.

"Wait up!" Kai yelled.

I turned around and looked at him.

"Fine." I groan.

"Are you okay?" He asks,looking at my cuts and bruises.

"Yeah....well no..." I say looking at the ground.

"C'mon I'll get you cleaned up."
He says.

I don't know why but I felt the sudden urge to hug him. But I couldn't.

I looked at him and caught him looking back. I laugh a little.

He laughs too.

His laugh is so cute. And his smile. Wait,snap out of it you can't be in love with him.

I just stare at the ground the rest of the way home with his fingers interwined with mine.

I hope you guys like this chapter. I was kinda lazy so its not as good. But I hope you like it
