So after that night we started packing a lot of clothes and I mean A LOT because maddoxs mom and dad where taking me and him. Maddy wishes her parents could come but they are to busy with violets new movie.
So they next day maddoxs family got Maddy and they meet up with Zach at the airport. "Hey kiddos" Zach says hugging them both "hey Zach!!" They both say. "I'm so happy you guys where able to come travel with me" he says. "We are really excited to" Maddox says. "Yep" Maddy says. There flight was only to Florida so it was pretty shorts and then after they got settled into there hotel
They found there room and opened it. But there was only 2 beds. "Maddox and maddy are you guys ok with charging a bed?" Asks mrs batson. "Yea it's ok" Maddy says looking at maddox. "Yea" Maddox says looking at maddy.
So they unpack and get ready to go out in to town for alittle so they headed into town with maddoxs mom and dad. "Mama?" Maddox asks with a sweet Southern accent that makes Maddy smile "yes maddox?" She asks "can we go into some stores?" He asks "sure me and your father will be at in-n-out if you need us" his mom says. "Ok mom love you" he says. "We love you too" his parents say before walking away.
"cmon what store do you wanna go to mads?" he asks maddy. "idk it's up to you maddox" maddy says. "okay then let's go to uhmmm tillys?" maddy says smiling brightly. "sure!!" maddox says as they start walking over to tillys which was around the corner. they walked around a few shops and then headed back to maddox's parents. "hey mama" he says as they walk up to the two. "hey kids" she says hugging maddy. "your mom called she misses you and violet wanted to call when we get back to the hotel" she explains. "ohh okay!!" maddy says while realizing she missed her family a lot already. "well we should get going soon so you two sit and eat i orders you guys good to share" his mom says. so we sit and start eating while we laughed and joked alittle.
after that we got back into the car to head to the hotel. "mads" maddox whispers "yeah what's up" i whisper back wonder why he isn't talking loud. "i'm writing a song but im surprising my dad with it and i need some help" he says. "oh yeah sure" i say. "it's about a girl who was hurt by her past love and doesn't think a new love will make stuff better but all he wants to do it love her" he says "oh wow thats amazing." she says "it's called tears in the river" he says "oh that's cool" i say thinking to myself if he wrote this about me and landon and him. "well i was gonna talk to zach about announcing it at the show to suprise my parents if you think that's okay" says maddox. "it's your song so you can announce it when ever you want maddox" maddy says because he seemed stressed. "i think you mean our song, i want a girl part in it and i want that to be you" he says. "what, i can't write a song" maddy says. "i wrote your part already you just need to learn it darlin" he says and as his last word rolled off his tongue with the cutest country smile her heart skipped about 3 beats and she froze.
but before maddy could say anything the car made a slow stop so we had to get out. he got to our hotel and got ready for bed. maddy took a shower and then did her skin care, while she did her skin care maddox took a shower. maddy was sat in the chair at the little vanity outside the bathroom which had the door closed but she could hear maddox singing to himself as morgan wallen played from his phone. she smiled to myself before realizing she never called violet back.
"do you guys mind if i call v?" she asked the batson parents. "not at all love!" mrs batson says smiling. "we are accually gonna go down to the hotel bar because we have old friends from high school in town" mr batson says. "okay bye have fun!!" maddy says. "thanks darling" mrs batson says.
and maddy clicks the facetime button and violets contact she answers within the first ring. "maddyyy!! i miss you sooo much" violet says. "i miss you too vi!!" she says. "how's you a ur mannnn" violet asks.
"oh please he's not my man and he's doing good he's shower right now and his parents are meeting up with old friends at the hotel so i'm alone rn" maddy says. "ohh nice, what did you guys do after the flight" she asks. "me and maddox went around and looked at shops and then got dinner with his family, has mom cleared things up with the gordon's?" maddy asks because the sense landon made replays in the back of her mind all day long. "oh uh well i think she tried too, but your gonna have to talk to him." violet says. "oh okay" i say not really wanting too. "well moms calling me to come down for family movie time so byee!!!" she says. "bye loves you violet" maddy says. "love you tooo!!!" violet says before ending the call.
maddy heed the shower water turn off and also maddoxs music come to a pause but she didn't look up from her phone and she scrolled through her and violets texts missing her little sister. the door opened the slightest crack and maddox stuck his head though. "sorry to bother you mads but can you get me a shirt from a language i forgot to grab one" he says. "yeah of course" maddy says before getting up and walking over to his suitcase and grabs out a gray t-shirt that has morgan wallen songs on it and hands it to him. "here maddox" she says. "thank you soo much mads" he says before closing the door but then coming out right after with the shirt on a wet hair.
maddy was standing by the vanity now putting her skin care away. "what's that?" he asks pointing at her moisturizer "it's like lotion kinda idk how to explain it" she says. "can i try some?" he asks. "sure sit down" she says so he sits in the chair and she puts a pump of the moisturizer in his hands and he rubs it into his face as maddy sprays detangler in his hair and lightly brushes it for him.
