Princess Harumi x Maid! F! Reader -Why do you like me?

you wiped the dust off harumi's vanity in her room, as you had just finished cleaning. you were harumi's personal maid, and she was kind to you, but made sure you had some task/chores so the empress and emperor wouldn't nag at you. as you zoned out looking at the rag you were wiping the vanity with you heard the door click as you turned seeing harumi head in.

harumi looked around as she nodded as she extended her arms out as you quickly headed over to her to help her remove the big green kimono that she had after meeting the ninjas. as you than removed her crown placing it on her vanity as you placed her kimono down on her bed as she quickly dressed into some shorts and a white shirt. "that lloyd guy seems annoying" harumi scoffed as she sat down at her vanity as she looked thru her drawer for some makeup wipes to remove her white face paint.

"w-well i believe that the green ninja is pretty nice princess" you said as you were putting her dress away, she rolled her eyes as she was removing her face paint. "thats what they want you to believe y/n" harumi said as her toned started to sound more angry a bit, "all they love to do is hurt people, gullible people, like you" harumi said as you just stood there with your arms behind your back as you sighed as you watched her take off her makeup. "that's why you have to stay by me, i would hate for something to happened to you" harumi said as she thanked headed to the bathroom and telling you to follow her as you obeyed.

"but don't worry because i'll protect you" harumi said calmly as she headed in the bathroom closing it as you wanted outside for her as usual. you were harumi's personal maid, you had to make sure you did everything for her and made her happy.

as harumi headed back into her room as you followed, harumi's room was big so she had a small sofa for you to sit on. "would you like me to anything else for you princess?" you asked as you sat on the couch, "y/n you can call me rumi...." harumi pouted as she fixed her pillows up before sliding into her bed.

"but no i don't need anything, and tonight how about you sleep with me? let me get you some clothes to sleep in, you're not sleeping in that dress" harumi chuckled as she got up headed to her closet grabbing a t-shirt and some black shorts for you.

"princess- rumi..you dont have to.." you trued protesting but she gave you the clothes as she made you change as she went to her closet again to find you a pillow.

as you finished changing you tilted your head at harumi, "a pillow inside your closet?" you giggled slightly as she smirked. "well when you started working here i bought an extra pillow for you and left it in there when my dad assigned you to me" harumi smiled at you before sliding back into her bed as she moved her pillow to the side as you than set your pillow down before sliding in the sheets with harumi.

"you're like my best friend if im honest rumi" you smiled at her as you stared up at the celling, "you never had friends before?" harumi asked in her soft spoken tone that you loved hearing. "meh, just a few" you said as you turned to the side to face harumi as she did the same as she pushed back her long white hair.

"i wasn't really the popular kid, people used to think i was quite and weird" you said as you looked into harumi's ruby eyes, as she listened to you.

"i didn't really go to public school" harumi said as she placed a hand on your hand before rubbing it gently, "but i understand what you're going thru, and i'm here for you" harumi said as she smiled at you gently as you smiled back at her comfort.

it was quite for 30 seconds before speaking up again, "harumi how come you like me?" you asked wanting to ask her for so long, harumi paused for a second before speaking up again. "you're the only one i really like talking too" harumi said as she placed her arm under her pillow before closing her eyes.

"you just know what i go thru, and i can't ever stop thinking about you" harumi said again as she then left you awake watching her sleep as you blushed slightly before closing your eyes to get some rest.

harumi than placed her hand again on your hand squeezing it gently as she rubbed it soothing you as you slumbered.
