Ron went to go wake up Hermione and bring her here so that everyone could listen to what i had to say.

Harry was getting more pissed of by the minute when he noticed the bruises around my wrist and the rip in my pants and cut across my thigh. he just wanted to know what happened.

once Hermione arrived in her half asleep state, my adrenaline had stopped and the pain from my injuries were starting to hit. my one pants leg was rolled up so that Harry could access my thigh to disinfect.

"so y/n. you gonna tell us what happened anytime soon?" Ron comments. i was in the midst of sipping a glass of water Harry brought me. i put the glass down and cleared my throat.

Harry was sitting beside me on his bed, Ron and Hermione were opposite us on Ron's bed. it was just like old times, except it was usually Harry in my place and me cleaning up his wounds.

"okay," i begin, "so. i snuck out the castle to go down to the lake for a bit. just for a walk. t-"

"what did you sneak out for?? were you alone??" Ron expresses with concern.

"she's getting there Ron." harry snaps. but then there's a pause. harry looks up at me from where he was tending to my thigh "were you alone?"

"uh...no." i reply softly

"well who was with you?" Hermione inquires curiously.

i hesitate to tell them, but ultimately decide that they were gonna find out sooner or later, and rather from me than someone else.

"uh, i was with Draco..."

"Draco!!??" they all exclaim in unison. Hermione's tone being more happy and excited then Ron and Harry's. their's was filled with disgust.

"the hell were you doing running around on a date with- with, Draco?" Ron asks with the same tone of disgust in his voice. Hermione's eyes glistened as she awaited my explanation excitedly.

she'd been urging me to give Draco a shot for weeks.

"frankly, i don't think that's important to the story... but it was not a date." i reply in annoyance.

"then what wa-" Harry inquires but was cut off by Hermione saying, "shushhh. just let her tell the story."

i continue, "we snuck out after curfew, and walked along the banks for an hour or so. we were about to head back up to the castle when we saw Hagrid and Maxime heading into the forest."

"i knew it! i knew they had something going on!" Hermione exclaims proudly. Harry and Ron shush her.

"once they disappeared, we were about to turn to go back up to the castle when i heard voices coming from the forest."

"voices??? like the ones only i can hear??" harry inquires with concern. i shake my head.

"no. real people, i swear. but uh...naturally, i was curious. i decided to head in, Draco pleading with me to turn around as he trailed behind me. i kept walking. when we were a little ways into the forest, Draco stopped walking."

"he told me that he was gonna go back to the castle right then and there, with or without me."

"THAT TWAT LEFT YOU ALONE IN THE FOREST?" harry exclaimed with anger in his voice. we all shushed him because it was now the middle of the night and the rest of the castle was asleep.

"it wasn't his fault Harry. put yourself in his shoes, what would you have done?" i reply

"i would've either gone with you or dragged you with me out the forest by your feet if i had to! there wouldn't be a ghost of a chance that i'd left you alone!" Harry replies with frustration. he gets shushed again.
