As darkness began to envelop my vision, I clung onto consciousness, desperately counting the seconds until Sensei's arrival. Every breath burned my lungs, the toxic smoke threatening to overcome me. But I refused to let it take me down without a fight.
Finally, through the haze, I heard the sound of approaching sirens. Sensei had come to our rescue. With a burst of renewed hope, I strained to stay upright, determination fueling my every movement.
Just as I felt my strength disappearing from my body. That's when I saw the ice ninja and water ninja. "Master of life are you okay," the water ninja came running over to me and Charlie. Everything was foggy and getting darker last thing I remember was the water ninja taking my mask off.
As the water ninja removed my mask, a rush of fresh air filled my lungs, providing some relief from the suffocating smoke. Slowly, my vision began to clear, and I could see the worried expressions on their faces.
"I'm... I'm alright," I managed to whisper, my voice weak and hoarse. "But Charlie..." My gaze shifted to my unconscious friend still in my arms. The ice ninja stepped forward, his cool presence bringing a sense of calm amidst the chaos.
"Don't worry, we'll take care of him," the ice ninja reassured me, his voice steady and assured. "You did well in getting him out of there. We'll make sure he receives the medical attention he needs."
Feeling a mixture of gratitude and exhaustion, I nodded, allowing them to take Charlie from my grasp. With their assistance, I stumbled towards the waiting ambulances, where paramedics began assessing our condition.
Sensei arrived a moment later, concern etched on his face as he surveyed the damaged building. He walked towards me, laying a comforting hand on my shoulder. "You showed great bravery today," he said, his voice filled with pride. "You did what needed to be done, even in the end you could've been lost as well."
The ninja in green stood beside me and handed me my mask, "you should be more careful running into a building like that." I nod and felt my legs slowly getting weak and end up using the green ninja to stand. "D-dizz..." Was all I could say and everything went black again.
