A TV turns on as it shows the JC Jenson logo, followed by the words, "Rebuild, Together, and Better." The screen quickly switches to a brief warning message before changing, revealing the content to be a training tape for automated services technicians, as well as a how to deal with zombie drones. As calming music starts playing, the statistics of "client reasons for WD unit disassembly and disposal" are shown, all while a narrator begins speaking, "Upgrading models? Cutting maintenance costs? There are many reasons why a client may wish to disassemble a drone individual or a series after a period of use."
The TV shows the two steps to disassembling a worker drone: a software cleanup and a hardware cleanup. Meanwhile, the narrator continues addressing the viewer, "Following these two steps is key to avoid-" Static soon overtakes the voice as the ZOMBIE DRONES logo appears momentarily before the video skips ahead to the section on WD disassembly process complications and fines, with the voice explaining the risks of doing a poor job, "Incompletely disassembled drones may occasionally reboot from software death alone."
The screen then swaps to the core termination rejection cause checklist-"T.O.F.", the acronym standing for Technician error, faulty OS string, and Failsafe wear. The narrator then starts making it clear this should not be taken lightly, "More than undead federal fine hazards, its corrupted AI carries an increased risk of future error." As the television shows one last image of a pie chart with almost a third of it engulfed in yellow, it is devoured by golden static as raindrops hit the screen while the storm over the dump rages on.
Nearby, a crow pulls out a wire from the trash and flies off to its nest on top of a mound of worker drones. Deep inside the pile, one of the machines boots up, its yellow eyes looking around in fear and confusion. The robot then hears something moving outside before a voice with a distinct British accent speaks up, seemingly talking to someone else, "Look at this. People don't know the value of these drones, or how they're more than just metal; isn't that right Madeleine?" The android tries screaming, but the storm drowns out the words as the footfalls grow quieter.

Lightning flashes over a mansion in a swamp and within the building is a locked gate, a scratched sign on it reading "Restricted." Meanwhile, on an upper floor, multiple worker drones dressed in maid and butler outfits stand frozen, ERROR: 606 displayed on their visors below a yellow X; however, this isn't the case for all of them. Inside the building's library, one android, who looks, acts, and sounds like N, reads aloud from a book, "Commonly kept, this breed is known for its friendly, intelligent temperament and soft golden coat. Golden retrievers are also-" He then stops as he turns the page and takes out a drawing, "Us as lizards. J drew herself."
The worker drone picks up the drawing and tosses it to a female machine wearing glasses which is standing completely frozen, though he doesn't seem to notice his friend is offline and continues reading, "-Are also known for having gentle mouths. Aww. That's why they're good with kids."
His attention is suddenly diverted as he hears the trapdoor in front of his friend bulge outwards as if something is trying to break out. As he gets up, a book titled DANGER falls from the shelf; it's soon followed by two more named ENTER and The Spooky Basement. On cue, the door's banging becomes increasingly more violent, but instead of investigating or running, the worker drone shakes his head and walks out of the room, pretending nothing happened.

Within a dining room containing a bar, a mechanical roach scuttles up a teacup filled with oil, looks around carefully, and then begins drinking; however, the body of another robo-cockroach bubbles up from below. Before the scavenger can run, an ice axe-like arm impales it while a robotic, emotionless, female voice speaks, "Stab." A mechanical crab claw then picks up the dishware as the male worker drone from the library enters with a tray of empty glasses; upon seeing him, the owner of the voice speaks, "You seem upset big brother N."
