Camila's pov
My name is Camila Jones, I am 19 years of age and doing hospitality in New York College of technology which is located where is my home Brooklyn.
Well, it is starting of my second year and no classes, we are just being introduced to the lectures as if we don't know them already. Well, there is this guy called Ken who has always been in my class but he has just never noticed me.
I used to just look at him as no-one but he is the cool guy who looks good in his low fade haircut from his brownish hair, his sky blue eyes, his cherry lips and his well built body. His earrings make him seem like the first and the last man on earth to wear them and look hotter.
Everywhere there is a party, Ken is there. I am also there, but only because I don't want to seem like the party popper. And he is part of my story.
'Tell me you're coming to the party tonight.' My friend Bella says, and I groan.
'Come on, first party of the year. I know you wanna come, Ken will be there.' Bella continues.
'It's not like I'm not going, silly. I just want you to beg me.' I say.
And Bella and I make a lot of exciting noise as we even jump, but we pull ourselves together as people are looking at us. Since it's after school, we head our separate ways home.
I find my mom preparing bottle milk for my baby sister she has just had with my dad five months ago, and I appear with a bright smile on my face.
'I need to choose an outfit, mom. I know I said this year I'm going to change, but it's just this one party.' I say to my mom as I throw my bag on the couch and approach her.
'Honey, but we agreed you're babysitting your little sister tonight.' My mom says.
Shit, I forgot. It must have slipped my mind, but I can't anymore. I can't miss the first party of the year.
'Mom, I'm sorry. Dad can watch her, he's got no meetings.' I say.
'Yeah, sure. I don't mind, as long as she won't wake up.' My dad says.
'Trust me, he won't.' I say as I wink to my mother and head to my room.
What is he? 13? He thinks a baby sleeps the whole day, they barely even sleep 10 minutes. I take a shower and apply my cosmetics and I dig into my closet to pick out a kneel top lather skirt that has a slit with a white crop top and I put on my white Nike sneakers.
I take my purse and my grey Mazda co-pilot car keys and head out, laying a gentle kiss on my little sister's soft skin and she wakes up with a cry.
'Oh, oh.' I say as I run away before anyone sees its me, and I head to fetch Bella.
I get Bella and we head to the party, it is held at a club. As I have just packed my car, Bella and I get out of the car. Within a blink of an eye a few minutes after we enter the club, Bella has disappeared. Well, I am used to it. I go to the bartender and take a sit, and I order a glass of Tequila.
'Ken! Ken!' I hear the crowd exclaim, and Ken is taking shots.
Bella is busy at the corner hooking up with her boyfriend, I just keep on swimming my throat in alcohol. Looking around at people having fun and dancing, until I can barely even see straight.
'Hey.' I hear a voice say, and I slowly raise my head to see Ken.
Even though I am drunk, I can still think straight. I gasp as I start patting him, and I giggle.
'What's your name?' He asks.
'You can't be sitting here looking like this all alone, some guys might take advantage of you.' He continues.
I look at him like I can't hear anything he's saying, or like he is speaking something crazy. The next thing he sighs out loudly and leaves, and I turn to the bar tender.
'Another glass, please.' I say.
And I turn to look around for Bella again, this time no sign of her anywhere. I breath out heavily and gulp all my drink at once, and I stand up.
'That's it, I'm going home.' I say to myself as I try to walk, I feel like even this sneakers are hard to walk in.
As I have just exited the club door, I bump into a group of guys chilling outside. And one of them
approaches me.'Beautiful lady, where are you going?' One of the guys asks.
I don't have time for this bullshit, I feel sick. So I throw up right before him.
Ken's pov
I don't know why, but seeing the girl shoving down a lot of Tequila glasses down her throat while sitting alone made me concerned about her, like how can a beauty like her who has always seemed like a lady be doing this to herself.
My apologies.
Where are my manners? I am Ken Mile, 20 and doing my second year at the New York University of technology. I'm sure you've heard about me. I live with my dad, mom passed on when I was ten and big sis overseas but we talk every now and then. I live around here in Brooklyn, I'm just a normal guy having fun to myself.
I decided to follow her outside since she looks a little tipsy, only to find a bunch of guys bugging on her.
'Hey!' I exclaimed, and they back off.
'We were just helping her out man.' They say.
I approach the girl. Right, she's the girl from my class I've seen here and there, I've always wanted to have a close up look with her. She has always seemed hidden, goes to class then suddenly disappears then you'll get to see her at the party.
'Let me help you, where is your ride?' I ask her as I catch her before she falls.
Before she could release even a single word, she runs to throw up then comes back to give me her car keys. Okay, I guess I'll have to just guess the car then. I press the car keys, and a grey Mazda co-pilot goes, 'beep, beep.'
I carry her to her car, i get her in the passenger seat and I drive her home.
'So, where is home?' I ask the girl, but she's fallen asleep.
'Home.' The car monitor says, and a GPS map shows.
I take the girl home, carry her out of the car and ring the door bell. It opens a woman who is in a mother figure, holding a young baby.
'HI.' I say.
'Hello, what happened to her?' The mother asks, and I whine.
'Uhm... she got carried away.' I say, and the woman nods.
'Honey, come get your daughter.' Her mother says, and it steps out her father to take the girl from me.
'Don't tell me she's drunk. Thanks young man.' Her dad says.
'Sorry, I didn't get your name.' Her mother says, and I giggle.
'Ken Mile, we go to the same school.' I say.
'It was nice to meet you, I'm Camila's mom. Thanks for bringing her home. You okay?' Camila's mom asks, and I nod.
'I should get going.' I say.
'Thank you.' She replies.
I head home not believing my night, and I chuckle as I catch a cab home. Who gets drunk yet they came alone to a party, especially when driving? Unless she was with a friend and she ditched her.
As I get home I find my dad sleeping, and I head straight to my room, take a shower and take a nap. But I can't believe the girl from the party, Camila. How can a pretty girl look even more pretty when drunk? You've got to be kidding me. She looked nice by the way, the leather skirt brought out her entire figure.
