Prologue: The History

Note: This story is purely based on werewolves. Some supernatural creatures are mentioned but they have no connection to the original storyline. The following is just a history of how the werewolves evolved so you can have a better grip on the storyline.

In a world where humans and all supernatural creatures live together. They included vampires, witches, goblins, werewolves and fairies.

During the early years of werewolves, they were socially oppressed and were on the bottom line of the hierarchy. At that time, witches used to control the kingdom.

Over time, as werewolves population increased and they learned how to control the beast living inside them, they started to fight back.

Eventually the vampires started to get tired of the witches, so they formed an alliance against them.

The vampires and the werewolves together were able to throw off the reign of the witches.

After the demise of the witches, vampires came to power. Most witches were killed and the rest of them were exiled.

For some time, there was peace in the supernatural community. However as vampires evolved- they learned how to walk in daylight without getting burned.

With the rise of this new ability, the vampires begin to oppress the werewolves again. The werewolves were slowly gaining power and the vampires didn't wanted to see them as a threat.

As a result, they started to hunt them down. The werewolves community became chaotic.

Werewolves were beasts who lived as groups. They needed a leader who could guide them to the path of glory.

Hence the alpha's of each pack held a meeting. Some packs wanted to run away- but some declared war.

After debating for many hours, the alpha's came to one decision; Formation of a Royal Pack.

A royal pack is a pack that rules over the whole werewolf community. Their main task was to keep the werewolf community in order and protect them against other species that would pose a threat to them and their family.

All pack alphas would have to respect the royal pack alpha's decision. The werewolf community would unite under one rule that would give them great advantage over the vampires.

Now the question arose- which pack will become the royal pack. Every Alpha wanted that sort of power.

In the end they decided to leave the matter upto the strength. The strongest alpha will take the title of the Royal alpha.

After a fight that lasted four hours, one alpha came out as a winner. The alpha of NightStar.

All alpha's like they had promised, accepted his leadership. They said that they will stand by his side in every decision that he made.

In order to complete the procedure of royalty, alpha of each pack had to give a small amount of their blood to NightStar alpha so they could give him the royal status.

After the ritual was completed, NightStar pack became the first pack of royalty.

Werewolves now stronger than ever, declared a war upon vampires. A bloody war that resulted in the loss of many.

After a war for power that lasted nearly for over a year, the werewolves came out victorious by successfully making the vampires bow.

From starting as the bottom of hierarchy to becoming the top of hierarchy- werewolves now no longer had any enemies.

They had no reason to start up fights against other specie and they were living in peace under the shadow of royal pack, NightStar.

That was until one pack- Black Shadow started to get tired of living under NightStar pack.

They wanted power, they wanted to be royalty. Hence they started their plot against NightStar pack.

They turned other packs against them. The werewolf world once again started to divide. Half of them siding with NightStar and half with Black Shadow.

After a huge war, Black Shadow came out as winners and forced NightStar to step down as royalty and accept them as their Kings and Queens.

Again the royalty ritual was carried out and Black Shadow became the second pack of royalty carrying royal blood.

However they wanted to wipe out all of the NightStar pack because they were also a pack of royal line.

While the werewolves were busy fighting against eachother, the witches and vampires allinged together to take them down.

The witches cursed the werewolves and forced them out of the city. The curse could only be broken if the werewolves could retain one thing which was the most precious to them- it was their bonding which was collapsing due to their inner conflicts.

For half a century, the wolves were exiled under the poor leadership of Black Shadow pack.

Amongst all of this, there was one pack who was tired of the way Black Shadow was running things.

The wolves were at their worst, with no hope of ever returning to their brightest moments unless something changed.

Hence Red Moon Pack decided to take things into their own hands. They held a meeting with the rest of the werewolf alpha's and together they came to the decision that Black Shadow no longer deserved to be the pack of royalty.

They forced the Black Shadow Pack to step down and Red Moon Pack became the third of royalty blood.

With a new leader on their side, the wolves were able to break their curse and they decided to take back their kingdom from the vampires and witches.

After they successfully took back their kingdom, peace was restored once again.

Currently there were three packs of royal
blood- NightStar, Black Shadow and Red Moon with Red Moon being the current leader.

The Black Shadow was slowly killing all the members of NightStar pack, so they could reduce the amount of royalty as much as they could.

NightStar pack also wanted to take back their reign and it was creating conflict in the werewolf community.

At the end, all alpha's of each pack came down to one decision- they no longer needed a royal pack.

The pack's were divided, some wanting NightStar to rule while some wanting Red Moon to continue their rule.

They didn't wanted their enemies to gain an upper hand and force them out of their kingdom.

Red Moon Pack ofcourse didn't wanted to end their reign, but when every pack wanted unification, they had no other choice but to step down.

Hence this became the end of the era of kings and Queens and beginning of a new era- an era that will either result in the downfall of werewolves or their rise with even greater power.
