The man was resting in his bed, enjoying the pure pleasure of fruits popped in his mouth.
He was humming to a tone, but suddenly a loud sound of wreckage turned his ears upside down. He looked up to see his room's door kicked open with such barbarity that it sparked shivers down his skin.
"Who the hell dares—"
His words were left hanging in his mouth, when he saw Ashton standing there. His eyes were bloodshot, ready to commit a murder.
Something is very wrong here.
The man swallows hard, the sound echoing in the silence as something disorienting takes over his head.
"O-Oh is something the matter?" He asked, feeling a shudder drawing down his spine, that stabs over his hyper-aware skin like whips of fire.
A hand slams on the headboard of the bed, right next to the side of the man's head. He could feel his wolf whimpering in his throat, almost scared.
Oh you stupid dog. How can you be scared of him? Come out and fight him. The man hissed inside his head, being unable to trigger his wolf for protection.
Ashton leaned closer, like a raging fire that was meant to burn. He clasped his grip over the man's shirt, a maliciousness in his eyes so strong that it could cut through steel.
"How dare you disobey the pack's rules? Trying to sell a young woman?" Ashton's fangs were slightly visible, and the man trembled under his own bones.
"If it was upto me, I would rip off your head right here and now." Tiny shivers break on the man's skin.
"Now, you either come with me quietly. Or I'll force you." Ashton's voice grew thick, and with a splash of fear, the man stood up.
He was still wearing his pajamas, but that was the least of his worries. He ran out of the room, and obediently went to sit in the car.
After suppressing his growing rage, Ashton goes to Leanna's too. He explained the whole situation, and soon, she was ready to go with him to his pack.
After driving for half an hour, they finally reached the Blazing Sun pack.
The slight rustle of the wind against the trees, the silver cloud hanging above the sky, the sun running the light. Everything felt so raw, so new, so amazing.
A whooshing sensation settles beneath Leanna's stomach, her heart hammering against her ribcage. It felt unholy to even step on this sacred ground.
Ashton breathed in the familiar scent of his pack, meanwhile the man was shaking. He was so dead.
Leanna's frantic gaze flickers between the green, and warm surroundings. Despite the surge of excitement, she couldn't outdone the fear that came with it.
First, she was kidnapped. Now, she was taken to an unknown pack, by an unknown man. Is she even safe here?
Ashton stepped up, and lead Leanna and his uncle towards the packhouse.
The Blazing Sun Pack was an extremely peaceful, and beautiful place. It was the fifth largest pack of the world, having sections for running ground, fighting ground, shooting grounds and much more.
Despite being a strong pack, they had almost no history of violence. They never fought over territory, and were located in a place far away from rest of the packs. They were a tranquil pack, but if someone dared to mess with them or their pack members, they weren't afraid to shed some blood.
As Leanna walked in the pack, she could see that it was blissing with life. Pups were playing in the park, warriors were training in the ground, young mates were out on dates.
