Chapter 9

I woke up with the sheets tangled around me and the sun shining hot on my back. That's weird it shouldn't be that hot on my back if i had a shirt on. I rolled over onto my back and untangled my legs from the sheet and lifted it up to see I only had my intamints on. I sat up abruptly and instantly regretted it when my head started pounding like someone was on top of my head and mistaken it for a drum. I let out a groan and plopped back down on the bed. I rolled over on my side only to find an angles face sleeping beside me. I gazed at him in awe. Who could of thought such beauty was possible? Definitely not me.....well till now of coarse. He shifted slightly onto his side and stretched out his arms resting one on my stomach. OK even though I was half naked in the bed with Shade did not mean i was comfortable with his hand resting on my now scorching hot stomach. His touch shot electric shocks through out my whole body and I could not take it any more. I through his hand off of my stomach, ripped the sheets off of him and wrapped them around me once I was out of the bed. He groaned and I just took a step further back.

"Come on Erin. Give me the sheets back you know i hate it when you do that."

All I did was glare at him and waited till he fully opened his eyes. Once he did and saw the daggers I was glaring at him he sat up and put on a goofy smile.

"Hey gorgeous. How are you this morning?"

I just glared at him even harder and gestured to my body not wanting to speak because i was afraid my voice might tremble.

"Yes I can see how hot you are this morning even with bed head."

Shade chuckled slightly when my hand instantly popped up to try to tame my probably frizzy, wild curly hair.

"Its so not funny Shade! And why am I half naked and you only in your boxers? Did we you know.......?"

Shade just rolled his eyes and shot me another breath taking smile.

"Anna! You think I am that easy? No I got to be wooed first." Shade said in a high girlie voice.

I had to bite the inside of my cheek from laughing at his stupid voice.

"Seriously Shade I am so not kidding about this! I don't even remember half of last night! I still can't figure out why these sheets are wet. I am totally clueless and you obviously remember. Just tell me because it would really suck if I lost my virginity and not remember any of it." I blurted out really quick not even thinking that I just said I was a Virgin.

"Wait did you just say your a Virgin? A girl who is a gorgeous like you has not got any yet?"

I crinkled my nose up at his terminology and then secretly smiled. He thinks I am gorgeous?

"Yes, ok? So just tell me did we...?"

Shade raised his hands above his head and stretched causing his bones to crack. He sighed in relief and got up from the bed and walked over to me. I pulled the sheet tighter around me and searched around the room for my clothes. Shade tucked a piece of hair behind my ear and put his lips beside my ear. I shivered in delight when his warm breath caressed my neck lightly and made tingly sensation work down my body to my toes.

"No we didn't. I like you too much to do that to you. Plus your a treasure and I plan to take my time to find you and see what lies inside."

Shade pulled back and looked into my eyes. He leaned in closely and lightly brushed his lips against me causing me to close my eyes. I waited for the next kiss, a real kiss, when my phone went off.

"Call from Mom....

I blushed slightly at the look Shade was giving me and picked up my phone which was conveniently hiding under the bed.

"Mom?"

"Annalisia! Where the hell are you? I have been up all night waiting for you to come home!"

"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry mom! I just needed to get away, I am really sorry! I will be home soon I promise!"

"You better. And don't think your getting out of this easily."

"I know mom. I really am sorry."

At that moment Shade decided to put in his own thoughts and said,

"That's pretty harsh! Thank god she can't see us now half naked."

I just glared at Shade and showed him I had not hung up yet. He mouthed sorry and slapped him self in the head.

"Anna? Is that a boy? Did he say you were half naked? Anna! Answer me!"

"Love you mom see you in twenty. Bye!"

I shut the phone real quick and sighed. I turned towards Shade and glared at him.

"Anna, I am so so so sorry! I thought you hung up!"

"Did you hear me say goodbye? No, so that means I am still on the phone."

"My parents and i just hang up we don't say anything! I am so sorry!"

I sighed in frustration and rolled my eyes at him.

"What ever Shade. It okay." I looked up at him and smiled my biggest smile.

He rushed over to me and engulfed me in a hug and kissed me on my forehead.

"Anna, you are the best! Will you go out with me on a date sometime?"

I held onto him tighter and nodded my head breathing in his sent.

Every thing was so great at the moment. Then I remembered I had my mother to face. I quickly grabbed my clothes, pulled them on, kissed Shade goodbye and ran out the door.
