"Paola, I miss you. tangina."
Nakailang shot na ako kaya biglang uminit ang pakiramdam ko.
"Pre, siya pa din? pwede ka naman naming i-reto eh. dami kaya diyan oh."
I scoffed at what he said, shaking my head.
"Selene pa rin ang gusto ko. bat kasi ako hiniwalayan, anong meron kay rex na wala ako? di ko maintindihan."
"psst, ilabas mo lahat kasi may championship pa tayo in one month so you should start focusing up." the team's captain, Jade, spoke up before taking another shot. "Did she ever respond to your letters? does she ever read them?" tinapik niya ang likod ko.
"I have no clue pero ipagpapatuloy ko ang pag-send ng letters sa kanya. Kahit for closure lang, I badly need it."
I couldn't help the scowl on my face before collapsing on the table.

"ready ka na ba, anak?"
I finished packing my clothes, releasing a soft sigh. I still can't believe I am moving out of my parents' house. It has been my priority for a while but I never expected it to happen soon. masyado atang mabilis. nakakatakot maging adult. Hala.
"Should we get going then? We have a lot of things to fix in your apartment." Mom leaned to peck my temple, swiftly hugging her for a bit.
Nagsimula na kaming mag lagay ng gamit sa trunk, gasping at the amount of stuff I had. jusko naman po, ang dami pala. Mahihimatay na yata ako sa pagod.
"kaya pa, anak?" she poked my sides, patawa-tawa pa.
"luh, ako pa. kaya pa. konti nalang no?" I lifted another box filled with books I've collected throughout the years, placing it in the trunk along with the other boxes.
After successfully loading the boxes in the trunk, I leaned on the car, placing my hands on my waist. "good lord. finally. But it's still not done, we have to carry them to the apartment."
Mom closed the trunk, pulling out her car keys. "I think it's time to go, we have a long day today."
"pfft, you just want me to leave." Pangaasar ko sa kaniya.
"Hindi ah!"
After 10 minutes of the ride, we finally arrived at the condominium. I stepped out of the car and stared at the building before me. So, this is where I am going to be living for the rest of my college journey. I felt a gentle pat on my back and noticed my mom smiling at me. She seemed so proud of me.
"You better call me when you need anything, okay?"
"baka I'll call you mamaya pag alis mo." I teased.
"baliw. come on, we have a lot of lifting to do." she opened the car's trunk, releasing a soft sigh before carrying boxes to the entrance door, stacking each box with one another.
hays, we deserve a massage after this.
