Episode Six

EXT - Outside of stadium (Day, 2013)

"Darius, a tall, thin black man with a large afro leans against the wall of a large coliseum shaped stadium. He puffed his cigarette peacefully, keeping one foot on the wall and the other on the ground. He looks into the distance as he hears the thunderous roar of the crowd from the inside"

Announcer

And the winner of the third Storm Wars is Holt!

"The roar of applause became louder, vibrating the earth beneath the man's feet. He smiles as he looks to his right. He was being approached by a man wearing all black, including a ski-mask that had a white skull design imprinted onto it"

Darius

(Apprehensive) Yo, can I help you?

"The man with the mask held his hand for Darius to shake, a warm smile on his face"

Man with Mask

Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Brutus.

Darius

(Nods as he refuses to shake his hand) Nice to meet you.

Brutus

(Putting his hand down) Can I have a smoke?

"Darius reaches into his pocket and pulls out a pack of cigarettes, holding them out for the man. Brutus pulls one out of the box, lighting it up and taking a big puff. Darius gives him a look of intrigue as he slowly slips the box back into his pant pocket"

Darius

Why do you have a mask on?

Brutus

Isn't it obvious? To hide my face.

Darius

Where I'm from, people only wear masks when they plan to rob you. Or kill you.

Brutus

(Devious smirk) Both of those things are robbery. A murder is a robbery of one's life.

Darius

(Turning and looking at him, eyebrows raised) I'm not sure I'm a fan of your tone.

Brutus

(Not returning his glare as he takes a puff of his cigarette) Calm down cowboy. I have no intent to hurt you specifically. You are small fry compared to the bigger picture.

Darius

And what exactly is the bigger picture?

Brutus

(Looking towards him) You tell me. What is the difference between the world we currently live in and one that would be more ideal?

Darius

...what?

Brutus

What is the ideal world? And why haven't we reached it.

Darius

Well...if I had to take a guess. I would say it's because people are selfish.

Brutus

(Smirks) Bingo!

Darius

Take Storm for example. Strong characters. Weak characters. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled players should try to win with their favorites.
