' Wait. What was my dream again?--
--I remember feeling trapped in rising heat, and there were plastic or cardboard cut-outs all around me, and my gums' roots were pushing out my teeth, and the voice of a thousand angels said to me, "It's temporary."
Maybe that should be my mantra as I step into what will inevitably be the worst years of my life. ' She'd circle the date on her calendar, accepting the fact that she would be experiencing what could only be described as hell in an hour.
' I wish my Mom wasn't passed out right now and could at least drive me to the bus stop. ' She thought as she attempted to pour some cereal into a bowl for her to eat; but instead of cereal, a tarantula came out. " Phillipe? What are you doing in there? Don't scare me like that! " She'd laugh as she watched the tarantula walk away. She soon finished her bowl of cereal and sat down to eat at her dinning table, drowning in the room's eerie silence.
As she finished, she got up and walked to her room and into her closet, changing into the corresponding uniform.
' What was that angel's name again?
Was it... Lily.., or Layla...
No, I think it was Lilith. '
She'd think to herself as she grabbed her backpack and rushed out the door.
