Ohshc's POV:

Im running. Fast. Trying to escape. Trying to get away. But it's too fast, the beasts fingertips graze the skin of my ankles as it try's to reach me. Tears fill my eyes. I start to scream hoping anyone could find me but it seems as though im running into a meaningless void. My screams echoed off the walls of the never ending hallway as the creature was hunting me down. I look behind me and the horror on my face skyrockets when i see it chasing me on its hands and legs. Suddenly a hand gripped my ankle and pulled me down. I let out a blood curdling scream when i fall to the floor.

My body shoots up as my eyes jolt open. My whole body is sweating while im panting. Another nightmare. It had been 2 years since the incident. We moved to a different house, because the last one reeks of the beast. I go to therapy every week to try to get over what happened. It's not helping at all.

After a few minutes of cooling myself off i get up to use the bathroom. A shiver ran through me as my feet touched the cold tile. Part of me believes it wasn't the tile that made me shiver. I shake off the feeling and walk to my door. Just before i reached the handle, i heard a low growl, a growl i could recognize anywhere. My heart sank and i started shaking. 'Not this again please, anything but this.' I thought to myself. I slowly started to turn around. Afraid of what was to come to me. Afraid of what was behind me. Afriad of what i feared most in the world, and most of all, afraid of it.

When i finally turned around i was astonished to see nothing there, and also relieved. But when i looked to the top bunk I saw a figure that i couldn't make out because of the dark cloudy night sky. My relief immediately disappeared and my heart started racing. Then the cloud finally passed, allowing the moons light to let me fully see the being.

There sat the creature i have tried to forget for so long, cross legged, staring at me, grotesque claws gripping the sheets of the unused bunkbed. I stood frozen in place. One second felt like an hour as all of the memories of our last occurrence came rushing back, all the trauma this animal has caused me. Its like we were having a staring contest. Neither of us daring to break it. But as soon as i saw the creature smile down at me. I screamed.
