Your POV

Moving out from the city of Teilmas...

We all move out as we follow the Captain of the Cavalry Knight, Dek. Traveling through the plains and then to the forest where there should be a village that was being raided by bandits. "I always hate ambushes if they find out we're coming." F/n starts to complain lazily.

"If they send a scout to look out the place outside of the village, then we are not ready to fight against a full attack when we are the ones who are scouting," I reply. "I could have my party, a team where we are at the table in jack-of-all-trades instead of just us knights."

"Oh, are you a big fan of magic for a reason?" F/n asks with curiosity.

"I can imagine if I was an adventurer with my style to form a party," I answer his question.

"Bro, you're a knight. How can you be sure if we are occupied with swordsmanship? What are you trying to think here?" The friendly knight asks me.

"We always go on at the frontlines as groups, not as an army. I know we have different skills, but we end up with our swordsmanship to engage in the frontlines." I tend to complain with feedback on the knight's duty.

"It's like the first time you think that we could pull off our unique ways than just one-."

"It's all about the instructions, why we follow the knight's image and characteristics, not like an idiot who likes to go with the style on our own." I start explaining how we act, not how we follow as a knight. "Besides, don't you think that we are fighting through the means of life and death here?"

"True as we are on the mission now." One of the common knights replies. We are getting close to the village. "I'm guessing we should be scouting the area?"

"Yes, we are now closer to the bandit's territory. We should scout ahead first and see the threat level of their hideout entry." Dek informs us. We are hiding by the forest, the settings where trees and bushes are a part of the environment, the chances with the place to hide away from the enemy sight.

"It's a good thing I still got a bird with me that can scan the location of the bandits along with their monsters." I have my bird with me, showing everyone as I start preparing for its takeoff.

"Yeah, but how since the beast-tamer could detect your bird?" F/n asks me with a concern.

"I modified my bird through magic craft. With the use of ghost perk and dead silence, their common awareness won't be able to detect or hear it." I explain but the others do not understand and start asking me more questions of what I meant.

"Because it's about aura and magic, not just awareness. Besides, beast-tamers with magic that was bestowed can be a reason why I used magecraft for this mission." I start sending out my bird and scanning the area ahead of us.

"You seem very cautious." F/n comments.

"Comparing to the first time that I wasn't aware of what was ahead on our first mission." I chuckle.

"Dude, all because you are nothing but a sword. You can't even do anything at first." F/n grunts.

"True, I never know what I can do while trying to complete the training course since we are noobs." I sigh before my eyes on the focus I casted onto the bird's sight. I view the area from above without even a problem that I could be skeptical of, being cautious around the enemy. No enemy birds are spotting me so far. I have my bird looking down and seeing the current situation of the bandits by the entrance of their hideout. "What the...?" I notice the unexpected turn.
