As dawn broke over the Kingdom of Kouka, the tranquil city of Hiryuu Castle began to stir. The air was filled with a sense of anticipation as the kingdom prepared for the grand celebration of Princess Yona's sixteenth birthday. The castle grounds bustled with activity, servants scurrying to and fro, and guards taking their posts.

In the heart of the castle, within the chambers of the royal family, Yona and Hakura, the two sisters, readied themselves for the day's festivities. Yona, adorned in a regal crimson gown, exuded elegance and grace, while Hakura, with her vibrant pink hair cascading down her shoulders, radiated an air of playfulness that contrasted her sister's poise.

As the sisters admired their reflections in the mirror, Hakura couldn't help but feel a sense of restlessness. Her heart longed for adventure, to break free from the confines of the castle walls. She yearned for a purpose that matched her fiery spirit.

Just as the Hakura finished getting dressed, a knock at the door interrupted her thoughts. It was Min-Soo. "Princess Yona you are missing the ceremony," he panicked. "I will be ready in just a minute I'm trying to fix my hair, but it just won't stay down!" Hakura sighs at her sister's actions.

"Yona it's your birthday ceremony you shouldn't miss it." The pinknette grabs a brush and starts to help with her sister's hair. Although Yona may seem spoiled and immature to others, however in the eyes of her sister she is mature and kind hearted.

Ever since their mother died Yona has taken the role of being a mother figure towards Hakura. The pink haired princess has a habit of getting lost in her thoughts, so Yona has stayed by her side to make sure she doesn't get hurt.

"You are so kind Hakura! My little sister is growing up!" She exclaimed with her fingers pinching Hakura's cheeks. The younger princess puffed her cheeks out in embarrassment and moved away, "That will be the last time I help you." A knock on the door interrupts the sister's small banter.

"Father! Did we miss it?" She asks, he nods his head. "It's alright, it was nothing important anyways so you didn't have to attend." He says with a kind smile, trying to ease the guilt emitting from the two sisters. "Father do you think there is something wrong with my hair? My face is pleasing, but this hair is frizzy and red!" She complained.

Hakura stood up with a sad sigh and bumped her shoulder with Hak's. "She's been complaining about her hair for the past hour." He let out a low chuckle at her remark. "I don't see anything wrong with her hair, however, there's something wrong with her head."

Just as those words left his mouth Yona started throwing things at him. "Oh not again! Please stop this!" Hakura pleads shielding herself from the objects. Ok, Yona can be slightly mature.

"Shouldn't you worry about something else? Lord Su-won has arrived." With that she dashed off to find their dear cousin.

Hakura POV:

I was never really close to our cousin Su-Won. However, I don't hate him either, he just has an aura that seems like a facade. His kindness towards us are all real, but there is also something else beneath that. I never told Yona about this simply because of her infatuation with him. I hope to someday find someone to love me, like Yona loves him.

"Father, do you think for my birthday you can find suitors for me?" I ask quietly. He looked at me in shock, "I can try my best, but what makes you think of this now?"

I look out the window and let out a sad sigh. "I'm afraid of not finding love as I get older. Everyone has someone they like, but me. Is it because of my hair? Or maybe it's my eyes, are they too bright?"

Hak pushes himself off the wall and places a hand on my head. "Nothing is wrong with you princess. You are simply too kind for this world that others are afraid of tainting it."
