Cornville College

Chapter 1

Cornville College is a school around northern Queensland. It's a mixed school of teenagers. And like every school it has it's groups, the goths, the nerds, the jocks, the popular kids, the kids who fake sword fight, the kids who act like they're 25 and many more. But this was not a normal day at Cornville, two teens started dating. As normal as that sounds, it isn't. One teen was from the goth group and one from the popular kids group.

"Jake, as if you're going out with Bella. She's like totally from the stupid lamo group. Do you even think of your popularity? Do you know how easy it is to drop down to the bottom again?"  This is Sophie. She's almost the queen bee of the group. But then the new girl, Isla, took her spot. They have been in competition ever since. Isla is even going out with Sophie's cousin Oliver so she can be at her family events and still be better then her. "Look, Sophie I really like her. You know what, I dont care any more if I'm at the bottom of the food chain." And this is Jake. His the one who is going out with the goth girl Bella. The only reason he's now in the popular group is because he made out with a University girl at a party. 

"As if. You just broke up with Taylor as well. Look I'm out, bye. Me, Kiara and Taylor are going out to Clava." Clava was were the popular kids hung out. Most break ups happened there as well though. 

In the goth group Dean was talking to Bella. "So what's up with you lately? Jake Sindge? Are you serious? Does this mean you are going to start wearing short denim skirts and go out on shopping sprees with Isla and Kiara?" Dean was really goth. He only really talked to Bella. If he didn't have Bella he would have no one because he only lives with his uncle Roy. His parents ran away from home. "No! I'm still here I still love you. I'm still your best friend. So stop worrying ok. I like him." Bella was really beautiful. But unfortunately when her parents got divorced And she cut all her hair, died it black and took on the goth look.

For a year Dean had found things hard. He had started thinking about his feelings. What sought of things he liked in a partner. And that thing was, if they were a boy. He hadn't told Bella yet but has tried to give her signals.

While Dean and Bella talked Nick walked past with some of his friends. He was a jock. So practically a popular kid. As much as a dick he was Dean liked him. "Hey Bella heard about you and Jake. Ha, like that's going to work out. Better luck next time, your relationship is pretty much already over." 

 The next day

Jake and Bella walked into school hand in hand laughing and talking together. "Woah. Am I actaully seeing what I am seeing?" Kiara said to Sophie. Kiara was a mans women. She got all the boys. Kiara was so pretty and had beautiful blond hair with bright blue eyes. But what no one knows she has had plastic surgery at least three times. Nose, boobs and lips. "Omg I know right. They are like going out it's totally stupid, I don't understand Jake these days. Does Taylor know yet?" Kiara asked with a devious smile. "No, too bad she left this dumb old place for Melbourne. She's so lucky her parents moved there for there jobs." "I know she's so lucky she gets like every thing handed to her on a silver platter." 

"So how's basketball going?" Bella asked Jake. "Yeah it's good maybe once you can come to one of my games?" "Haha, yeah that sounds like fun." Jake stopped, stood in front of her and reached down in his pocket for a black beaded bracelet with a gold skull on one side. "I got this for you, I thought you could wear it around so people know I'm your boyfriend." He smiled at Bella sweetly, with his pearly white teeth. "It's beautiful. I'll wear as much as I possibly can." Then she tilted her head up to his, held the back of her hair with one hand and kissed him softly. 

Recess

"What the hell Dude." Nick shouted at Jake by his locker. Oliver walked over to join the conversation. "What's up?" Oliver asked concerned. "Jake kissed the stupid emo girl this morning. I heard the math club talking about asking you to join the mathletes. Do you know how many people think you're a geek now?" Nick added on to the conversation. "She's not an emo! She is just expressing herself." Nick new he shouldn't have said the next thing he said. "I bet she's cutting herself as well and listening to crap emo music and doing ugly voodoo stuff to make you emo too." 

Without hesitating Jake punched Nick hard in the jaw. He started bleeding. But that didn't stop him. He punched back and it quickly turned into a fight. People gathered around shouting, "FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT" Oliver tried to pull them apart. But Nick just pushed out of the way into the bins. Howard, one of Sophie and Kiara's good friends tried as well. "STOP! Just stop!" But they didn't listen. Then Principal Kelly walked in. "In my office. Now." He was strong and firm with his comment.

While they stormed to the office Bella tried to keep up with them. "Are you alright Jake? What happened?" "Nothing, I'll talk to you later." He told her without even looking at her. "Rack off" Nick shouted at her. "Hey! That's enough from you two. Now hurry up." Principal Kelly yelled at them.

Lunch

Two weeks later.

Bella walked over to Dean before class. "Something happened a few weeks ago." She said looking at the ground with no facial expression. "A fight. I think it was about me. I don't think I should be dating Jake. It's not right, people keep giving me crap." Dean replied frowning. "No. Don't act that way. You are just resulting to  your parents. You will not end up like them." "But maybe that's it, maybe I will end up like my parents. All Nick does is tell me that Jake is going to break up with me any way. I don't believe him but I think I should." "Look I need to talk to you about Nick."

Bella looked at Dean straight in the eyes. "I..I..No don't worry." He wasn't sure how to say it. "You can tell me anything Dean, you know that right." "But..I" "Just tell me Dean." She was worried what he was going to say. "I like Nick." He looked at the ground shamefully. "I am gay, you are the first person I've told. And i try not to be. I try to think of something else. I've tried every thing, there is something wrong with me. I'm sorry." He started crying. But Bella was ok with this, she was not angry, sad, happy that he was gay. She was just happy he told her. "There is nothing wrong with you." She started crying as well. "You have nothing to be sorry about either. You know what, you are my hero. You are strong enough to tell me and I find that amazing. I wouldn't be angry with you if you even liked boys and girls. I love you either way. And you remember that."

Nick and Jake walked out of the office after a long talk with  the principal. Isla and Sophie walked up. "Piss off Nick." They chanted at Nick. He walked off whispering swear words. "Are you alright Jake? He hit you pretty hard." Jake looked at them angrily. "Go away you guys have nothing to be proud of, all you have done is bag me and Bella." He stomped off. 

Jake walked out of school without talking to anyone. Not even Bella.
